Plants is 30 days old
Growing under a platinum 450 xml
Flora nova grow 2ml/gal
Cal mag at 3ml gal
Ro water 9ppm
663 tds
Tent size is 3x3x9 ft
Charcoal canister at top of tent hooked up to an appolo 6" inline fan
2 fresh air intakes, one passive the other is being pushed by a small fan

For the first 13 days my ph was around 8.2 also I believe my tent was to cold. My cal mag was 2 ml for 5 gal ro water.

Since then I've corrected the ph which now is 5.7 and 2 ml cal mag per gal. Flora nova grow at 10 ml per 5 gal

The leaves have little bleached areas and some darker spots on the leaves also. Problem seems to be getting better as this is the 5th day with the above nutes

Any help would be greatly appreciated

:smoking: Chopper-- looks like a little Mg defc. to me,... Hydro is such a fine line for pH and availability:doh: .. while pH in the 8's is bad, ironically, Mg is still available at there,... at 5.7, it get's rather tight! Take the pH up a notch or two and see if that helps,.. alternatively, you can do a foliar spray with epsoms, 1tsp/qt,... you say it's improving? Mg defc. is one that will color correct when treated right,...

Thank you for the help. I'll try epsoms salt. How many days til I should stop foliar feeding? I'm guessing until I see some improvements?

Any idea what the white spots are?

Just fed the girls and the new growth still has darker edges and the tips barely noticeable but I see it? I'm referring to the Pineapple Express but I have the same issues with the Blue Dream.

My plan is to do as you suggested and raise ph up to about 5.8-5.9......sound ok?

... giver their color, I believe the spots are breaks in the chlorophyll density there,.. Mg is the central atom in a chlorophyll molecule.... For foliar, a very helpful product to have on hand for best results is a wetting agent/water spreader... this stuff takes the surface tension out of the solution, and allows what you spray to cover more evenly and stick better,.. more surface are covered+ more absorbed! It's not absolutely necessary, and if you have a mild hand soap (dish soap is too gnarly), or castille, a few drops per cup will do,.. get tops and bottom of leaves! Keep out of direct intense light 'til dry, and make sure she's dry by lights out,... try a few rounds over week and see,...it'll take some time to get in there and working....
As a future recommendation, get a awesome product called Transport, by Optic Foliar! We're actually going to have them come on board here, and there's a section set up in the Cannazone already,.. I treated a long term problem plant the usual way fro weeks, and barle made a dent.. 2 applications over 5 days with transport and :poof: -gone! And we're talking difficult micronute defc., Zn and Fe here,.. Check it out, look it up,.. amazing, interesting stuff! It's like the plant equivalent to DMSO,....:eyebrows:

Just quick note my transport will be here by the end of the month. Looking forward to trying it..thanks

Quick update
I have dropped tds to around 350 and upped the ph to around 6.5. The plants are wilting after I water them. I suspect it's the top layer of play sand I added to prevent thrips and fungus gnats. I removed the sans layer and now am 100% coco. Still feeding with floranova grow.

Chop', the sand have been smothering them,...plus overwatered, which is possible in coco if not easy to do! Wilting after wtaering is the classic sign of this,.. roots are getting choked out, poor gas exchange, no O2,.. prolonged, you get damaged/dead roots, potential rot, and they'll need some recovery time to rebuild... let it dry out more; heft the pots to get a feel for actual water load in there! And if you have a root tonic, stimulant etc., start that next time you water,... :greenthumb:
