Always looking for new books to read. Love sci-fi and horror (e.g., anything Stephen King, LoTR, Hitchhiker's Guide, etc.). Also a fan of Alan Watts books. Right now, though, I'm reading the book below (First Person Shooter by Daniel Whitted) which was recommended to me by a friend. Decent story with a lot of implications. I would highly recommend it.

The Heart of the Buddha’s Teaching by Thich Nhat Hanh. Great book. I’m reading it for a second time.

My favorite book though is City of Thieves. Makes you realize how good you have it.

Anything by Jim Marrs..

enjoy

I'm a bit of a Haruki Murakami fan. Though i'm currently struggling through Naked Lunch by William Burroughs. Bit over my head truth be told :confused1:

Nice. I loved The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle.

I’m reading The Master and Margarita and it’s even better than I expected it to be.

@Randar, based on the books you listed, I wonder if you’ve read any Neil Gaiman? If not, consider Neverwhere, which is a ton of fun and has a Hitchhiker’s Guide vibe to it.

For those of you with kindles, this book is now in a free promotion status on Amazon.

I just finished Well of Ascension By Brand Sanderson; book 2 of the Mistborn trilogy. If you have not read Sanderson, I would highly recommend. Most of his work is fantasy with a few science fiction. I like his simple prose that help focus on the world building, character dev, and magic systems. Sanderson was the person that finished Wheel of Time when Robert Jordan passed. Speaking of which, if you have not read Wheel of Time and are in for a long haul series that is worth the page count, add that to your list!

Picked this one up again. Also bought George Owell's 1984 and Catch 22
