What bug is this?

Need your help identifying it, and please provide suggestions for getting rid of it. It looks like a spec of dust worming around. They have been eating my Mephisto girls their whole lives. Thanks!

Look up leafhopper there are a million different variations. Would need a better pick under regular light to really tell.

If they are leafhoppers you probably won't see that many and you probably won't have a large infestation. You can always get yellow sticky traps to hang about and monitor.

I have no idea if cannabis is susceptable or not, but Aster Yellows virus is carried by leaf hoppers.

Pretty sure that is a thrip. A better pic in natural light is needed for positive ID. Here are some pics of thrips that I took from the last time I got infested.

Did you nab the fucker and kill it? Conduct a serious search, tops and bottom of leaves,... speaking of which, is there any damage on them, upper surface in particular that looks like this-->

Thanks guys, I had a praying mantis on one plant, but I accidentally squished it. That good bug seemed to keep the plant bad bug free for a week or so. I got some more praying mantis "cacoons" from my local garden shop, waiting for them to hatch. In the meantime, do you guys recommend any other predator bugs? I have a couple lady bugs hanging around, but they aren't as hungry, they seem more interested in getting to the warm light. Thanks!

again, is there any damage on the leaves? the mantis is too big to be effective on thrips,.. ladybugs too few, too slow,...

Yes there is leaf damage. Some small holes every here and there. Here are some pictures with the lights off.

yup, that's a thrip... Time to get nasty, mate! I recommend either Azamax or a product that contains Spinosad,.. are you in the US? most garden centers will have a spinosad product, Aza' more likely at a horticultural supply store,... Capt'n Jack Dead bug is a common spinosad product, both as a ready to spray, and a conc.; best results come from using a wetting agent along with any pesticide, it coats and covers more evenly, and helps penetrate the water-resistant coating bugs have naturally,... Thrips are highly mobile, and adults can fly, so you'll have to treat all the plants, and clean the tent up to kill hiders,... they don't make holes though, they pierce the surface and such juices,... I do see some damage now, those small white-ish patches are feeding scars,...

Thanks, just got some of the Cap'n jack dead bug concentrate. For wetting agent, will just a dab of dish soap work? How often should I spray? And what time of the light cycle would best best for spraying? They are on 18/6. Thanks!
