This is my second grow and I'm freaking out that I could be nuking my plant!

It's Day 27 from sprout.

What could have caused my soil runoff pH to be between 4-5? A few days ago I noticed some yelloing of the bottom leaves and a slight slow down in growth.

Yesterday I noticed some small leaf tip burn and today it's worse, so I flushed with distilled water pH'd to 6.5 with hopes that it will start to correct whatever mistake I have made to cause this.

The breakdown of what I use

MEGA CROP fed every 3-4 days @ 1 gram/gal starting day 7. Then on day 17ish I started feeding @ 1.5 grams/gal until 3 days ago when I started noticing issues. And my soil mix is basically like Promix HP.

So what else can I do other than flushing with 6.5 pH water? Or was that a bad idea?

Sorry I went back and read the first stick. Like I said I'm freaking out, so I started typing before reading. And I'm stoned. Lol. But seriously.

Problem: pH is too low. I don't know why.

Medium/grow method: soil

Feed: and supplements used: MEGA CROP only.

water source: Tap water left out for over 24 hrs to dechlorinate.

Strain/age: GSC from Fast Buds at day 27.

light used: single COB from @BigSm0

Climate: 80°F @ 31-38% humidity. And for the life of me I can't get the humidity to go up.

Additional info:

Looks like you do have some nute burn. Autoflowers are famous for that. In general terms, you should start an autoflower with 1/4 the published amount and work up from there. Nitrogen could be lacking and causing yellow leaves at bottom. On many occasions that has happened to me at beginning of grow and end of grow. A few lower yellow leaves won't affect the grow. Deficiencies are not my strong suit. Somebody will probably come along with some help too.

What are you checking ph with? For it to be that old and look that small is a bad sign. What do you use for ph down

I've only checked my soil runoff pH so far which was the first time today. I pH'd my water after I mixed my nutrients where I started on 1/4 strength, but I used the same gallon of mix for the last two weeks. Could that have caused issues? I use pH up and down from my local hydro store. They said it's more forgiving than GH, so that sold me.

How frustrating it may seem now it's not the end of the world. I don’t flush plants but if I did have a nutrient burn this early on I would consider it or do water only for week or so. Ph is critical. So far I have had excellent luck with megacrop working out to the ideal ph and haven’t had to add any adjusters. I also noticed it stays fairly stable too. Maybe there was an earlier ph issue in a feed?

There had to have been something else then. That's why I went with MC. Either that or my tap water is trash. I'll just water with distilled water for a bit and see what happens. I remember the same exact thing happening on my first grow about the same time.

I have heard not to use ph up or down together but my guess is that ph pen isnt reading correct and you are high on ph. It takes some doing to drop that low on ph. What pen do you have and is it calibrated correctly?

Well you should never use up and down together. If i were to do anything it would be buy some ro water and flush with no additives. Also when checking soil ph saturate medium just to start of run off. Walk away come back 30 mins and flush medium. Take your sample from runoff second time. Then compare what went in to what is coming out.
