Hi guys, im currently in my 4th week of flowering and I want as much light as possible on my lower buds. So im thinking about defoilation. This is auto blueberry from speed seeds. Should I remove some of her leaves? Does anybody have any strategies to doing this? In advance thank you for your advice. I would love to hear experiences with this method. Again thanks.:vibes:

some say no some say yes, I do it a lot, I'm in a cabinet, tight quarters.

as you can see, this girl is about naked now. I half filled a grocery bag from this girl already.
yours looks small yet, I wouldn't clip yet from that pic.
She looks young, cant tell.

My goodness what an awesome vertical setup!! Hahahahahaha :D Seriously though that plant is a friggin monster man!! I am pro defoliation, but like all plants some will like it more than others. I did defoliation on my outdoor photo plants last year and results were spectacular. I also did some selective defoliation on some portal autos this season and results were positive.

That is a beautiful cabinet setup there @oldcoot
Loving the obsessive/compulsive vibe you got going.

I'm a defolainter-wannabe.
No experience, but from all I have read and researched, pro-defoliation.

Have earmarked 2 little girls in my current tent who will be undergoing my first ventures into the Taboo-land of defoliation.

Im for it as well and start light defoliation in veg( as early as 10-15 days),then continue thru flower.Autos can take it,but then again I top, fim, mainline and scrog autos.....

My automazar grow is very bushy. It seems like the LEDs penetrate quite ok. Considering some defoilation, but I won't until I get some proper advice and instruction.

@oldcoot, @912GreenSkell, what about writing a tutorial for us children?

What would you do here?

I'd go for the big fan leaves, remove a few each day.
