Hello everyone, I will soon be starting my second grow and are looking to get some advice for what equipment i should buy for my next grow to make sure i can deal with any deficiencies or such.

My setup is :
Tent size: 165 x 65 x 160.
Lighting: 1x 600w HPS. + One random LED grow lamp in the other side of the tent.
Pots : 10L Grow bags.
Soil grow.
Nutrients : 1 kilo of Powder feeding from greenhouseseeds, for short flowering, mostly indica.

Seeds : Trance mix from Shaman genetics.
1 x Blue caramel Auto
1 x The super Auto
1 x Hubba bubba
1 x Marleys Auto
1 x Kraken Auto
+
5 x Mixed Shaman Genetics auto seeds.

I am thinking of buying the following things.
1 PH meter.
PH up and down.
Cellmax Soil Grow Mix.
Cellmax Soil Bloom Mix.
Epsom Salts.

I am aware that there is a thread in there with a basic list of things you should get but i would like to hear what people think is most important to me with a limited budget and so on.
My budget is not set yet but is limited, sadly i dont have money coming out of both ends :)
What else should i buy or which things would you change to something else.
I would prefer things that can be bought on European websites.
Please let me know what you think.

Best regards Bernie Lomax :)

I would say most important would be better nutes or nutes that you'll be able to find more help with from other members..if you go with something like Advanved nutrient line up and just what's in their ph perfect line up and additives you'll never need a ph meter... Though down side is AN is a bit more expensive than other nutes and what your really paying for is pain by numbers growing and a lot of marketing... So on the other hand for long term purchase I'd say the most IMPORTANT thing would be a good ph and ppm/ec meter...
Also take a look into using fabric pots or super roots air pots... You'll prevent plants from getting root bound and can grow some monsters from some little pots... Just my thoughts as everything else sounds like a good plan! :karma Cloud: Coming your way! Hope you set up a grow journal once you get going...

Thank you Yoda for your answer, I just checked out the AN nutes their actually not that much more expensive than the Cellmax.
So i will probably go with those, Would you mind try telling me what nutes i would need for an entire grow, should i just get some grow and bloom nutes and PH up and down, or is there any other stuff i should consider adding to those?

I have been looking at the air pots too, a bit too expensive for me at the moment but i could buy them later on for the future.

if you go with the AN notes Id go with the sensi a&b (for veg, now depending on soil and what nutes are already in it, may not have to feed veg for first three weeks or so) than I use the Connoisseur A&B for bloom… For additives you could get away with b-52, bud candy, some voodoo juice.. would be three basics that would be good to start… So if you go that route there is zero need for a ph meter or ph up and down…. just be sure to use RO water as your source water.. So if you don't have a local super market or wallys world a RO filter is something you could look into buying… Other than that you sound set to go!

Thanks again buddy, i will look into some of those nutes and stuff.
What does RO mean?
I live in Denmark so theres no clorine or anything else added to our tap water here if you had something like that in mind. :)

RO water is reverse osmosis water - it's very common in USA.

But i've been looking into your water :D ... Denmark rocks - check this out!

Denmark has some of the cleanest water in the world. Quite uniquely, all its water is pumped up from deep below ground, and passed through a sand filter before it comes out of the taps.

In recent years, the water utilities have started competing over which one has the best water. Since it is neither filtered nor has substances like chlorine added to it, the taste changes depending on where in the country you are. Drinking water in the capital city of Copenhagen in the east tastes quite different to water from the west coast.

Each year the water utilities hold a competition – the Danish Water Grand Prix – where professional wine tasters choose the tastiest water. The utilities are making a map that divides Denmark into districts according to the taste of the water.

Hi i live in scandinavia and know a couple of growers in denmark (alot).
Denmark is world famous for there "water treatment"."cleaning water".
Denmarks water tend to be verry verry hard water with alot of calcium and magnesium (not always)
You can theck the hardness of your water on your local "vand vaerk" website
if your water is "hard water" you will proberly run into unstable ph. ph will rise
:Sharing One:
"My 2 cents"
Peace

I don't have access to RO water from a super market and RO filters are expensive so is it necessary?
Tap water leave it for atleast 24 hours then nutes then ph up/down is what i've been told is best to do but i'm unsure.

If the water is pure, why filter it??

Adjust the PH, and pour. If you want to get crazy,
aerate it with an aquarium pump.

Haha, even i didnt know that much.
But yeah we have some pretty good water. :D
