My DFG is starting to throw pistols all over and I was thinking of using blackstrap molasses for the first time. I started to search for this subject but I can only find general comments that a person's support for it.

Are molasses intended for the flower phase?
What is the method to mix a brew?

I can buy a A & B chemical mix for induced flowering but I prefer a more natural method if it produces great results.

So I am asking the members that have done the flower phase often with great results.

I forgot to mention, I grow outdoors in a coco/perlite/worm castings mix.
Direct sun is 4 hours, indirect sun is 8 hours a day. My DFG is a photo not auto.
So I guess I have about 6-8 weeks of flowering left.

you need something like bone meal or a type of guano or ther types of p-k rich w/ less n to promote better flowering
you have a decient mix for nitrogen w/ the castings but need to replenish for lowering being as it is probably close to exhausted from vegging depending on the ratios used
you can add molasses at about 1-3tbsp depending on plant size and use of beneficial bacteria at a rate of per gallon of warm water to disolve molasses it also contains helpful minerals
but you need an all around bloom formula that provides enough micro nutrients for plants to fatten up w/o def
if you decide to use chemical based formulas remember coco is notorious for hold ing precipitants(salts) so needs to be leached put more often than a peatbased mix does
you have alot of reading to start w/ my friend but hope this helps alittle

During the veg phase I added high nitrogen A & B nutes to the soil and leaves.

I am going to the shop tomorrow and need to choose the best performing bud nutes. I prefer natural nutes but not essential. Who can recommend a brand that delivers biggest bud size possible?
I have been reading that Advanced Nutients does not perform that well, is that true?

No that's not true advance nutrients works well and is considered by a lot of grower as a superior nutrient line up (don't cost that much for nothing!!lol) but also you have other good line ups like fox farms, and humbolt nutrients ... But IMO you can have a good mute line up but essentially it boils down to the attention , commitment that you put into your grow that will determine what you get out of it .....good luck with your grow n good vibez your way ......:toke:

OK thanks for the advanced nutrients advice.

I bought Dutch Master Bloom 2 weeks ago and blackstrap unsulphured mollasses today.
Based on the above suggestions, about 2 teaspoons of blackstrap per litre in hot water to disolve.
Can the water be boiling when disolving the mollasses or does it kill good bacteria?
Of course let cool before watering.
