So i noticed the other day that the lower set of leaves on my bubblelicious were changeing color. When i got out there today I see what I think is a Manganese deficiency?? Just wondering if thats what you guy think it might be also? I have another plant same strain that i used the same water, soil, and pot with and it doesnt have any problems. None of the other leaves are any different just the 1st set of lower big fan leaves (3rd node). What are your guys thoughts? Thanks! photo.jpg

Looks like a late stage phosphorous deficiency.

IMO flushing should be a later/sorta last resort option. No offense, Tang.

What medium, nutes are you using, FatCal?
How old is she?
Testing runoff? If so, whatcha got?

Havent done any test run offs. She is about 4-5 weeks. kinda lost count ,lol. Soil is FFOF and im using GH flora series micro, CALiMAGic, and a little GH maxigrow. I feed both of the two plants the same water, about a 1/2 gallon each every couple of days, and it is usually between 6.5-6.8. The 2nd one is about a week older with the same medium with no problems. I FIMd them both at the same time and they have both reacted the same way and as they should. Just kinda weird that only 1 has the problem. Thanks for the help so far guys.

I hear ya on the confusion, I had issues with my last grow, one plant stopped growing and maturing and the other showed some kind of advanced deficiency. I assume the underlying issues was the same but both reacted differently. Good advice been given here, the major bit of detective work is to check your run off, your soil may be way high or low in PH. The other thing you mentioned was watering every couple of days. Do you wait until they are both dry before watering? If not this may be the issue, as our favorite plant likes wet/dry cycles. It could also be a salt build up - when you water, water until you get a decent runoff and dispose, this way it clears some salt each time. Other techniques are to plain water it every few weeks (mini fush).

I usually just feed every other watering. For the first month i used just RO/Distilled water with calmag and ph down. The soils for each came from the same bag and each get about the same amount of water. I have a meter i use, the 1-10 dry/wet one, and usually only water when they are around the bottom end of the "good" level. 1-3 is dry, 4-7 is good and 8-10 is high. Usually feed around 4. Ive only gaven them nutes once. I dont really get much run off but i will check when i water again. I fed her yesterday and added some bloom nutes to raise the P levels a little bit. going to see how that does. They aren't in flower. Thanks for the help so far!

Possible that the Ph could be a bit high and that they're not getting quite dry enough in between waterings. I know you said same mix, water, strain and all, but that's not always relevent. Just saying, bud. I'd try letting it dry out a little more and dropping the Ph of your feeds to 6.5. Cheers.

The last watering I did was 6.5. It seems that the issue has stopped or slowed a bit after the last watering with mild bloom nutes. Maybe it was a P issue and it was just not getting enough from what I was mixing. There is still a few affected leaves that I will keep and eye on and let you guys know how it turns out. I'll also keep and eye on my runoff ph and make sure it's in a good range. Thanks for the help!
