This is my second ever grow and first go at coco. In the pic from left to right is an unknown sex Super Silver Haze, Think Different Auto, OG Kush Auto, and Blue Dream Feminized all germinated in coco under 100w T5. The Blue Dream is 4 days older and in a 3 gallon air pot instead of 1.5

Hey superphish - I just took a look at your grow room.

You lucky dude. That's beautiful.

My Think Different and O.G Kush have been flowering for about 6 days now, just switched out my 600 MH bulb for the 600 HPS. The OG Kush is 40+ inches tall so far.

Thanks Nuggz.

I use red bottom airpots (5L, 2gal equivalent) for my autos. I have a small space for the time being and need to keep a lid on their vertical growth. Coco and airpots are a match made in heaven for cannabis, as you don't have any issues with compaction and runoff through the holes. My first grow was in soil, and it was incredibly difficult to hand water properly. Coco just absorbs it all and distributes it perfectly.

I use the Canna line (Start, A&B, Rhizotonic, Cannazym, P/K & Boost) plus calmag and silica (until pre flowers show). It usually takes about 1L in a single pot before I get any runoff, and I don't allow for any runoff until it's flowering.

I can easily get up to 4-5' plants while maintaining a healthy root system in my airpots. I think the red bottom is probably the smallest you want to go, but it is not going to limit your growth when paired with coco.

Bumping an old thread, I have 10 13L airpots, so like 3.5gallons, would this be too big? I have them growing in soil but I want to reuse them in a coco setup at some point as I need to get automated as im expanding hand watering is becoming to big of an issue. Should I just order some smaller ones and start in those? I can get 8l (2g) or 11l (3g)

Would prefer to just use what i have though as they are quite expensive here.

I plan on setting up a table and doing drain to waste, with a timer setup for feeding from a resovoir. Any advice would be great.

Also i was wondering if its ok to transplant from soil to coco or is it a too big of a shock for new plants? (would probably be about 20/30 day old plants)
