Hi Guys:

I am going to be growing some super autos this summer outdoors and I have already hiked out my three part soil mix which is comprised of brands in Canada known as 'sea soil', 'my soil', and mushroom manure. I was unsure on what to do though when it comes to organic flowering. Can you offer any suggestions as to what I should give these super autos for flowering? And I guess I should also ask when should I give it to these super auto plants?

I know about back strap molasses. But what else is good for organic growing during flowering? Where can I get it from?

Thanks very much!

do you have a link with the product.Sea Soil.Mushroom compost has extra salts in it but is a good addition. if it were me,i would cut it 50-50 with cow and casting personally then add the other 50% or slightly less maybe40% of the Mushroom substrate.once I see the soil I'll give an opinion on the path I would take somewhat.

it looks like they have a few selections but didnt get into the site. just show me what your planning on using really.

I have always stayed away from cow manure because of the hormones they've been fed which go into your plants systems. I have already mixed these soils together and hiked them out and put them into pots. The mix ratio was one bag emptied onto the ground each and then churned together. Then I'd hike it out. Each time I did that I would fill 5 - 5 gallon pots. My question is what do I use for flowering and when do I start to give it or mix it in I should say if the plants typically are around 95 days til chopping...thank you.

well sure,as you should but if anything was aquired from a feed lot you haver to be careful as well. but honestly you can source free range manure thats been composted. check barns and do your own from local materials. with feed lots you have to take the change of hyper virulence.

excellent,happy growing broseph :D

so are you guys saying that you don't give anything for when the plant starts to flower? I'm asking because I have not grown out super autos before and the timing is different to photo period growing. I was always taught you give additives during veg growth and then you give something else to it during flowering. Both at different NPK levels each phase of growth/bloom. Thank you for your responses. :-)

well there are two schools of thought here. a mellower soil with less foods will require feeds.top coating,AACT's and so on. but if its a fully prepped soil for larger strains or hit with a top coating at transition no you will not have to feed. but most do as a standard way of growing but its certainly not necessary however if the soil is prepped well. thats all. I would use a flower tea personally with a top coating of fast actting geanules IN the top coating too. with a tea that would do really well.assuming your soil has a simple buffering capacity.

buffering is lime and living characteristics essentially. so if you have life, lime, other foods for the plants and a humic type acid it'll be buffering the whole time to stay within range of a proper PH'd soil. and the teas..there are a lot of them. simple teas? EWC,molasses and fish 5-1-1 for vegetative and/or transition phase at roughly week 3'ish. maybe 4. but then use either kelp soluble granules for flower with molasses and an inoculate like [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] inoculate or even recharge. and you can even use the 0-10-10 fish for flower. works well. Ive used it a lot in the past for ease of use. those two types will get you through harvest.

Wow! Those teas are awesome. Thank you for showing them to me. My problem is that I am in the bush with my plants and my woods are full of animals that hone in on the smell of fish and will rip up plants to get to the source that they smell. Racoons, rats, bears etc. What would you suggest I do then? Can I ask what EWC stands for? Is life cube an actual brand name that I can find on the internet? I've not heard of it before. Thank you again for posting this tea chart!
