Live Stoner Chat What to do about watering soil when away for 5 days?

Thanks chaps :)

Will defintely go the autopot route next grow, for this break i'm going to the garden centre tomorrow to grab some watering spikes, oh no it's blinking bank holiday here in the UK (like The Banksters need a holiday, BASTARDS!).

Bollocks, bollox! Shops shut Monday too, oh but they're open Saturday ! Phewwww!

Sorry, straight from brain to keyboard there, just had first spliff in a few days :)

What is the general humidity of you area? Also, what is the composition of your soil mix? The kits are fine and good but perhaps unnecessary if you want to save some money. I typically grow in two to three gallon fabric pots, my soil mix has perlite (sp?), my humidity is generally around 25 to 30%. I usually just give a flushing before I go (that way I don't come home to a problem) and while I have purchased such kits, I haven't used then. My take is that unless you are in an arid location, save the money and just give the plant or plants one hell of a great drink with no additives other than ph adjustment.
