I have two Milwaukee 600 PH meters, not crazy at all about them. They never come up with the same reading, even after calibration. What is a good meter that won't break the bank. PH is just to important to be playing guessing games with.

Apera Instruments PC60 is one that I'm thinking about picking up. Has a replaceable probe when you need to.

I've been using that model for a while now and it has done well. The problem I find with ph meters is that they start drifting after about a year or so. I have the Bluelabs and the Oakton EcoTestr PH 2. Both drifted a fair bit.

pH probes go bad randomly.
My BlueLab lasted 1 year.
Now I just buy a couple of the cheap ones ($12-$17), and they work just as well.

I've spent a lot of dollars on hanna meters over the years, none of them impressed me or lasted very long. I just buy the cheapies now too and they work just as well.

+1 for the oakton eco 2, I've had mine for years and it hasn't let me down.

Im using the blue lab right now and like it. Good to hear it will last just over a year.. mine will probably break under the 1 yr warranty.
