my is about at 200 at 7.8 ........after ro 0.0 7.2....

Mines really good 50ppm I live in the middle of no where oregon tho

damn 50ppm is real good savage - i take it u dont run into many issues?

CGR - 200 although not that bad is stil considered hard water - do you RO it because youve personally had issues otherwise?

No because i wanted control over all the aspects of my grow ..:smokebuds:i'm still very new to growing although i have had some good luck ,it's only because of the people here that help me with my understanding of things...shit the more i learn the more i realize how little i know......

Thats the optimum way CGR - Your in the grounds for great success with RO - How much did your unit cost ? And how much to maintain?

SAVAGE - Either way your pH should be stable - its the elements which make it rise or fall - I would think a low ppm would have a neutral pH but maybe the elemets you have left in i.e. the 50, they could be cations which positively charge water/medium sending pH up -

and with a low ppm in using soil this would also enable your water to buffer easily to the pH your plants want - im not sure about hydro unless using something with a buffering formula.
