That's exactly what it is, a so called water spreader; it's purpose is to take the surface tension out of the water, so when you spray a soln. onto something it sheets rather than beads... more surface area covered = more absorbed into plant tissues,... We use a similar product at the orchid nursery (and at home on
all my plants) for everything from ferts to supp's to pesticides. The 'organic' wet betty is $$$, stupid $$$,... IMO... I recommend a product made by Romeo (as in the fertilizer co.); it's a clear, kinda soapy-pectin consistency, and has proven to be non-reactive on anything I've tried, including the wispy cloud forest orchids- harsh language will kill these things, they're so pissy...I love this stuff! Makes soln. penetrate stubborn soil surfaces like magic as well... It think it's $20
per gal. and a little goes a loooong way (1-2 tsp/gal). It's not available at regular store, maybe at an Ag' supply place, but best bet is to call them (Romeo Packing co. .com?) google the name...
[later]-- I scoped out that link,...:joint: Geeez,... AN may have good products, but the leg-humping overblown hype-hype-hype in their ads is enough for me to have to check for stains on my leg when I leave the site...!

impmyride: [get back!] Their ad writers could make taking a crap sound like an act worthy of the Vegas Strip....
