I have researched this but I have had trouble finding answers. Seriously. I have found much material on curing, germinating and planting. Also info on drying seeds and storing them. But nothing whatsoever on when I am able to use them.
I have been lucky enough to get some hermie seeds from my girls. I have about 10 so far. Most look nice and mature.
They dried about 5 days in my dry tent with my girls and cured for a minimum of three weeks in large jars with the flowers.
How long after harvest/dry do I need to wait before germination with the new seeds?
Since they dried with the girls, I wouldn't mind testing one out now...but the oldest one is only about 10 weeks old. The youngest has been in a jar with the flowers for about 6 weeks.

In the past I have over-wintered my garden seeds, but I have no need to wait over the winter. So is there a wait-time (for drying, etc) before I can use them?

Since there are no males and no male flowers anywhere nearby, I suspect these are fem hermies, at least I hope.

Anyone? Wait time? Use them now? Thanks....

Older Cherokee. Looking to get another one before they are all gone.

I didn't fully understand your reply @iampepe
Does this mean you hold them for a full month after drying and also store them in the fridge a bit to simulate over-wintering?
If so, how much fridge time and how? In a jar/bag?

Thanks
