Hello i may have overlooked posts about this but i was wondering if anyone could help me with timing my harvest. Ive been growing for years but this is my first auto grow. I have an autopounder around day 80. No amber trichomes yet. Still have some clear ones and the fan leaves are starting to bleach out.

Not all auto's get amber or they will only get a few. I myself, harvest when they are all cloudy. But that is me, other's will have thier ways, and they are valid as well

Thanks for the input. I know thats when i harvest my regular ones with them just starting to amber but wasnt sure on autos. Is there any special pre-harvest steps to take like putting in dark for a couple days?

I've read you want to watch the leaves. They're better indicators of when the plant is reaching the end of its life cycle than trichomes. Have no experience with a harvest yet myself.

Out the 6 autos I've grow only one was cut at day 75. I've not once had one finish according to the advertised time.

I had good temps, decent nutes (dyna gro) and was running 400 watt HPS for two plants at a time in hydro.

The 75 day plant was kind of a weak high, needed more time.

The good stuff I've grown has been on average of 90-120 days.

I agree with the guy above, the leaves seem to tell more than the trics. I harvested an auto plant earlier this week that was over 100 days and only had a few partially amber, it was hard to find them.
