New Grower when to start light

hi all curious as to when light has to be added as soon as the ladies pop thier heads out. i have got everything set up and ready to go except i am waiting on my lights
cant hardley wait to germinate seeds but dont want to germinate and plant if i dont have my light in time. i would think it should be here in 4/5 days so was wondreing if i could go ahead and germinate now and plant. or better to be patient and wait

I suggest waiting for your light, mate. Something could always happen and ya don't wanna have your plants needing it and not having it.
They'll sprout in dark with no light, but as soon as they pop out with their first cotyledon leaves(solar panels) then they need light. Take care.

Once my seeds are in the soil I place them in this type of environment. The lights help warm the seedling area even though they haven't shown yet. The cover is important for humidity.

No apology necessary, but thanks for putting it out there. Personally, I have plants at different stages and one place to start in, so I have mine in the mix and covered with plastic and right in on 20/4 schedule from the get go. My point was that you don't have to have light for them to sprout. Good luck namspy.
