ive read that I'm supposed to switch to flowering nutes when upward growth stops..
The feeding chart I follow says I should switch between 2 and 4 weeks into flowering..
Well, she's just about 2 weeks into flower and still growing taller..
This is my first dwc grow, looking for a few pointers..
I posted a ton of questions in another thread.. But haven't got any response yet..
Today is day 51.. I put a lot of money and effort into this.. So I really need this to finish out nicely.. If it don't.. My gf will make me find a new hobby :/

Give flowering nutrients now!

Dunno what nutes you are using or what strains you are growing but I don't think it'll matter too much so long as your res is in good shape. If upward growth has at least slowed I'd switch though.

I have a similar situation. My plant is at 60 days still growing about an inch per day, some budding going on but not but not nearly as much as usual. I switched lights and nutes at 49 days with little effect. I am planning on changing my light/dark schedule from 20/4 to 16/8 as one would with a photoperiod plant.

So everybody agrees.. It's time to switch to flower nutes??
@KushNFT im using canna brand a+b Aqua vega atm..
She's a northern lights auto fem from crop king seeds..
@DazedAndStoned its been 12 days since I started noticing pistils..
@gurgler I started with 18/6.. I turned the timer down 30 minutes twice..before flowering.. So we're doing 17/7 now..

Sometimes what I'll do when the plant is stalling is feed half veg and half bloom nutes that way it still gets some nitrogen but also higher bloom nutes and hopefully encouraging the stop of stretch and more focus on bud formation.

These autos of mine currently are still stretching but I'm about to switch to bloom because I got buds everywhere. I try to let the plant tell me when she's ready but sometimes you need to make a judgement call.

You'll get the hang of it. I would say your girl has a good nitrogen bank already so bloom nutes wouldn't hurt any :)

I'm with Dazed on this one. At day 50 your stretch has got to be getting close to done. Go with half grow and half bloom. I bet within a week she has switched into full blooming. Good luck.
