I don't know about eu, but here across the pond you can fine dolomite lime in just about ANY nursery or garden shop. If you absolutely can't find "finely prilled" dolomite, you may, if done carefully, use hydrated lime. Harder hit and works fast but ya gotta be careful. You can find hydrated lime in garden shops, nurseries and sometimes at believe it or not, building supply stores. Good luck with it. Puff, puff, pass

yeh ive looked in a good few shops all i can find is garden lime(hydrated?)
bought some just incase...

"screened limestone, neutralising value 45%, total passing through 150 micron sieve"

i have 3 pots empty and two with plants already planted waiting to be phd.
would this be ok or would it burn plants/ take too long to be useful etc?
and how would you use it? dilute and water? top dressing kinda thing. just trying to get the hang of ph etc no idea about most things. i somehow made it through my first two grows not bothering this time with a ph pen i seem screwed.

any help much appreciated.

nope tried a few shops nothing. id say its a more specialist thing here or just shitty shops..
im ph'ing up but its just taking a long time not too far off now so might as well just stick with that. cheers anyway

I'd say that garden lime is most likely dolomite. I'm sure the manufacturer can clarify it for you. Give em a call.

If you go to homedepot they have this stuff called garden lime its dolimite lime but in pellets...This is what I do I buy the pellets get a old coffee grinder or one of those magic bullets and grind it to a fine powder and there you have it fine powder dolomite lime...

no home depot here though only crappy hardware stores with a gardening section or garden centres in the middle of no where.. not very pedestrian friendly. the garden lime i have is powdered anyway but cheers for the method itll probably help someone.

hahaha your running into same stuff I am here, perlite not sold in the country, Dolmite lime they look at you funny when you say it again. I made my own perlite in my blender.. what a mess styro foam makes when blended but hey it works. I also ended up going out to a volcano and picking up rocks.Zero clay pellets or alike. I have high PH so our remedy is different. Gotta Mc Gyver grow here... wish ya luck man

/puff puff pass
