Lighting Which LED for a small grow Box?

Well Andi i switche from 400w hps to 180w led ufo and had better results than before.They are cheap but prooven to work. To say i have a Darkstreet 60 Tent(60cm x60cm x140cm) where the Ufo is installed

Do you have the Mars LED UFO? The 180 Watt are lower maybe 100 Watt right? Incredible your UFO Beat the 400 hps WOW.... The end Produkt also Great?

DR60 is quite small and heat can be serious problem. HPS is hot as hell, but cheaper LEDs put out a lot of heat too, unless you have 500€ to spend for Grow Northern HS1.

In times of flowering you will need nice air circulation, so that plant will get fresh air and humidity and heat will go out.

If your tent is somewhere hidden and can be left open all the time, you do not need much. But if there is hot and humid where it stays, and you need carbon filter and you have to keep it closed all the time, because you do not want red LED light to be seen out of tent, or smell coming out, things will get more complicated.

What to buy depends also where tent stays and how loud fans may be.

Hi. Sorry to jump the thread. What is the ideal led power for a dr60. Is 200w about right or do people suggest more?

That sounds about right, 40-50w per square foot is what i was taught. I use 180w in a dr90 and its plenty for 2 big plants.

Thanks jayar. My tent 75*75*200. Been running 250w HP's and thinking of going to led. Guess with 200w led won't really make much difference too electric bill but will help with my temperature issues.

Yeah bro itll help temp issue but ive used my led in a dr60 and it was still to hot even with proper extraction. About 88-90 which is a little high for my taste. In the dr90 its at 80, but double the size of the dr60.

I belive the Ufo is the right decission if i need more Watt i buy another ufo and have 300 Watt LED... The Box are maybe the 80*80cm

The biggest Problem what i have is the Fan for New air in the Room ;( this fan for air Flow makes laut voice right? It is possible to grow without Fan if i open the door a litte bit from the Box? I know this is Risky.....
