DIY White chart for Light Reflection

Hi I have read white Paint is amazing at Reflection for Light. If I have white chart paper stuck to a cardboad, how would that be in terms of Reflection

Lower than normal, that paper is matt so won't reflect as well.
Several types of covering are suitable but cheap & cheerful wbw plastic sheets (think its called panda plastic)
White paint with a gloss in it would be better at a push.
Additionally, lots of dry paper/cardboard around liquid and hot lights is probably not a great idea.

Thanks a lot. I dont get these wbw sheets around my place otherwise would have loved to go for those. Also yes need to be very precautious about fire hazards.

While setting my space up I used some shelves from a cupboard, was chipboard covered in a white laminate (cheap children's furniture) the shelves worked a treat: albeit for a month I was struggling. But wbw is cheap and weighs little, maybe postal options available....

Thanks a lot for your help.the country is under lockdown due to coronavirus. Having hard time gathering things. Have got my hands on flat white paint now. How about painting cardboard white and then using it until I can get better materials to use?
