Provisionally identified 12/30 males today @ day 11 from sprout.
Too early for anything to show up on camera properly,
Should have a clearer idea of ratio's by the weekend update 12-16 would work out fine. 16 is the max I could fit in 11 litre pots. 12 would give me space to keep some cuts vegging in there.

Day 13 from sprout: Spotted and potted up 5 females earlier, into 11 litre square pots, slightly raised transplant.
Going to let them find their feet in the new pots for the next few days, then will top them somewhere between day 15-20 when they've hopefully put on a few more nodes for added branchiness!

Mitch, I'm subbed for sure! glad i found this before you got too far along! couple things... one i'm glad your happy with way this grow is going i'd love to see what these girls can really do considering the good results you had before! two, i'll be really curious how the pink orge turns out since the pink bud is a smaller strain and that ogre is large and more sativa dominate if i remember right... will be curious to see how plants and smoke finally turn out. and finally your Topping Auto's? i always heard this was a no no? are you topping all them or just the pink orge? have you thought about LST on one or two vs topping just to see a comparison? Thanks for keeping us posted your always up to good stuff

Hi mate,
If you look at the first picture on the last page, that was my favourite and best yielding plant from last run and it was topped. I fimmed, topped and left some to grow naturally in that grow.
I'd say it's a potential no-no to top, but it's strain dependant as to how they react.
It's possibly out of pure lazyness, 1 snip should result in 6 main colas. I may stake the pots and tie them later as an afterthought to manage the canopy depending how they go on.

Potted up 4 more girls this morning.
Took a few pics along the way.
I think i've decided to go for 12 females in there. Which will leave me a row for clones and mum's to veg.
I culled 2 unsexed plants, I think there's 5 left to choose the last 3 girls from when they show.
kind of a raised transplant. The extra perlite I added to the seedling soil made this more of a delicate operation than usual.
I did think about just whipping the bottoms off the pots and doing a much higher raised transplant, but I may have to hide these girls at somepoint during this grow, so I need to keep height down if possible.
Going to let these get settled in their new homes for a few days, put on a couple more nodes, then i'll top them all.
