They are taking full nutes every water (dutch pro) 3 litres every 4 days. Going to raise this to 4 litres soon. Currently getting small amount of run off that they then suck back in.
Still doing well, according to seed company they should be finished in five days but I think they will be another two weeks at least. The only problem I seem to have is there are so many buds I am struggling tucking leaves out the way and don’t want to trim many more as I have read that the plants use the nutrients from the leaves at this stage. My mate has said that people trim all of the leaves off if I did that the flowers would get a lot more light but I am scared to do it.
Thanks for everyone’s feedback! As an update Seedstockers have seen photos and advised to take away a few leaves as there are so many, they said it would allow more light and increase yield so I have done this. It felt like I took quite a few but afterwards it looks exactly the same! Maybe that means I did a good job?! As expected people that replied were divided on weather to do it or not.
Some people on another thread have said I might have nute burn so I have cut out most of the brown crispy leaves and also done some de foliation and watered with water only a day early (normally 5 days)
These 2 pics are the worst ones before I did the work
After a bit of a scare due to a setup problem caused by following the advice from the grow shop, I have lifted all the plants onto bricks which fit in the trays. I have been told to use the fabric pot with clay balls in the bottom and sit those in the trays but the plants were using the fabric I had been told to use the fabric pot with clay balls in the bottom answer those in the dryings but the plants are using the fabric pot to wick the run off back up. This started to create nutrient burn. I have watered with a 50% solution and yesterday bought a wet vac to vac out the run-off.
I also started to realise that the flowers were so densely packed there was not enough airflow so I have added two more fans and cut out a lot of vegetation and moved things around to try and get better airflow.
Hopefully on top of it now, not quite finished as it has taken hours! It will be hard to tell from the photos but you should be able to see some gaps and some of the net which you could not see before.
After spending about 8 hours de foliating and moving things, tying things to things I have just about manage to get every bud site away from each each other. I’ve got 4x fans and can see light under the canopy everywhere, it was complete shade before. I hope I’ve pulled it back. I have had help from manogreen on another thread with the wicking issue, you all have helped so much I think it would of gone bad without you guys on this website, I am in the UK so have no one to talk to!
I have some buds as thick as my forearms! It’s a complete sea of buds and they are getting thicker. I think I may have to take some down before others so some help will still be needed. I turned the light out tonight to take a quick pic. Must be about day 75 now.
