Whitney's farm potting soil?

If anyone has had experience growing autos in this particular soil I would appreciate their feedback and recommendations, based on their experiences growing in this particular soil.

My only problem with Whitney Farms is it's owned by the same company that produces Miracle Grow, (SCOTTS) which is the same company that has lobbied to weaken USDA Organic Rules, but thats just the anti-corporate way I roll.
 
It's not exactly blowing me away. I've got it cut with sphagnum and perlite and I've got seedlings with mutated leaves anyway- they are plugging along- but it's still way too hot. A little heavy on the "poultry litter" I suppose.
