Live Stoner Chat Who's a vet?

I have not served however I wanted to show my respect for those of you who are and have... I have cousins in the AF/Army. Grandfather was in WWII (D-Day) & Korean War as a U-D-T... He was a diver. My other grandfather served in WWII as well and in the Panama Canal when it was under construction. I have ancestors that fought on both sides of the Civil War. My Wife does as well. Actually we both have relations back to the French & Indian War. My Dad was neglected for NAM because he was the only son. (Sullivan Act). My uncle who I was extremely close with was a P.O.W of NAM that had both his knees shot off by a sniper. Both were replaced but he NEVER spoke of it. He smoked because he refused to take the drugs the V.A. gave him for is PTSD. Was terrible for him...

It is my personal belief that if it was a Job requirement of our President to be Commander-In-Chief he/she SHOULD have some military service on their resume... Oldman you said it best Brother...

“It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, more vengeance, more desolation. War is hell.”
William Tecumseh Sherman

If they did they wouldn't be so quick to send you all to police the world. You have my respect and gratitude for your service.

They actually don't fall under the DoD but the DoT (I believe), though I know wouldn't want to go through their basic training. I think I remember reading they have the highest percentage of deaths occurring during basic.

They are covered by UCMJ, and also National Health Service is also a BRANCH OF THE MILITARY TOO thats why the Surgeon General has the snazzy uniform, some of my classmates actually got commissioned in it. Another reason I dont trust the CDC because they are under National Health Service, a branch of the military, and the military would never lie.

sorry about spamming the like button, but it was deserving
really appreciate your service guys...come from an extensive military family (army/af)
you all should have the best this country has to offer in my book

i feel i earned my right to live my life how i want.. thats about it... lol... and the fact that i have ground to stand on basically when this ol war topic comes around... i think it is bull shit vets arent given legal right to get stoned... you can give your life for your country and be a hero, but the second you get caught cheifing a bowl you are a criminal... wtf sense does that make... ahhh... i guess in the long run the military has made me the man i am today... i appreciate them for that for sure... besides that, i can personally vouche that soldiers are easily replaceable mercanaries in the eyes of the gov... sad really... :(
