Why are my plants so small?

Ok so after further reading on this site I am thinking that the plastic planting bags I use might not be allowing for enough air exchange in the soil. I have went ahead an poked as much holes as i possibly could with a needle all over the bags to see if it helps.

it is also possible that i over watered as i have just discovered that the top of the soil is dry while it is soaking wet at the bottom of the pot. Poked lots more holes in there as well for better drainage...

Add some perlite if possible to your soil, that would help with drainage and oxygenation. Vermiculite, rice hulls, clay pebbles all will do the same thing look for something similar in your area.

If it's soil u can do a check, soak it grab a handful squeeze it in ur hand like a snow ball if when you let go of the ball it should crumble and not retain any shape if it retains any shape then it not airy enuff this is a cross I made

that's outdoors it's about 3ft tall and growing fast
