Well, Here I go again, going to try and keep this journal straight and hopefully shorter than the others. It is yet another NL from Nirvana in the FFOF and using the FF trio. I have added some dolemite lime to the soil. this has been done on both my grows. OK here goes the ugly stuff already. I started this grow on the last 10 days of the previous grow. All I did was put the new plant towards the corner of the tent and put one 6500k cfl bulb above it. for those first 10 days it was directly under the one 6500k, BUT the whole tent (all the rest of the lights)had 2700k in them and it was on a 12/12 schedule. SOooooo on day 11 I chopped the old one and that left this grow in the tent by herself. The lights were all changed to the 6500k and brought down to proper height. BUT oppps I never changed the time schedule until day 19 DOHP  SO here is what I am left with. A very lovely SHORT BUSHY BITCH. she does not seem to want to stretch at all, at least not this last week. I think the 12/12 2700k during the first couple weeks freaked it out. then changed to 6500k 12/12 and the 3 weeks in it gets 6500k 18/6. If the pics come out right they are day 10, then day 28, then today day 36 :peace:

Let's see what you've learned! Sub'ed. :pop:

Day 47

Well I am not quite sure what to think. She still looks pretty good to me, I don't have any issues with spots or ugly leaves that I see. But looking back on my last grow this one is so frikkon short and really bushy. I think those are like the pre flowers I see, and that means maybe she will start to shoot up some(right?). One lesson I think I have learned is to not really put the plant on a expected schedule, the plant will do it's thing in it's own sweet time. This is about the time I tried to make the last grow to start blooming, so this time I am waiting to see if I can get her to shoot up some more. SO here are the pics. Some of those 160z grows are bigger than this thing. You guys sure make it look easy. :peace:

So did I read correctly, you grew this under a single or a few CFL lights??? I have 9 lowryders in FFOF soil under a 600w HPS that are not looking that good. Mine are at 5 weeks. Three are tall and lanky and a couple are tall and healthy and a couple are only about 8 inches and bushy for their size.

She is looking stellar my friend! :High 5:

Fat bottom girls make the rocki'n world go round.!!! Looking fat and sassy.:Cushty:

Day 52

Chrisp - No I have a Hydrofarm FLCDG125D 125-Watt Compact Fluorescent Grow Light System with Dew Guard, and I jury rigged 2 1x4's so I can have up to 6 bulbs in each 1x4. I started by putting the 1x4 lights on the sides, but I think I like them all shining down now. Some velcro strips make them very easy to raise or lower, but it seems to work for a tight budget.(I will add a pic that shows them a little bit) What I meant was basically (counting big 125w) 7 bulbs had 2700k and just the one over the new plant had a 6500k in the socket and it was that way for the first 11 days, before I chopped old plant and changed all bulbs to 6500k.

And after looking at pics from last grow day 53 this one is shorter, fatter, smells a lot better, and pre flowers look about the same. So on my last grow this is where I forced flowering by changing nutes and lights and the thing shot up 6 inches, I think I made the cardinal sin. So like I said I am not going to worry about days and just watch the plant, I am going to let her go and give her a chance to shoot up some more. here are some updated pics, if anyone thinks I am going in the wrong direction please let me know.

Thanks WWWillie, Yea she looks good to me also, It is only my 3rd grow ever, and I am learning real quick not to expect each plant to be at a certain stage by a certain date, on my 2nd grow I am pretty sure I switched to flowering about a week to soon all because it was around day 50, and I saw preflowers, but she still grew another 8 inches after I switched to flower. I am still excited about learning and growing my own, so it is hard to sit here and wait, when everywhere you read they all say oh it's ready from seed to weed in 60 days or there abouts. My 2 grows so far have both been closer to a hundred days. So like my buddy Nam says. Just pay attention to the plant she will tell you what she needs and when she needs it. These guys and gals at AFN sure do a great job helping us newbs. I would not be able to do this without them. :peace:
