whatsgoodie is right, but there's no way to know your Autofem wasn't going to Auto. Choice is yours. How tall are they? They have nice bushy growth so when they do flower you should get a damn good yield.

If you're ready to do that, then flip the lights to 12/12 for several days or more until they start to flower like wg said. Then you can go back to 18/6. It looks like just that one spot so I wouldn't worry much about it right now unless it gets worse or appears elsewhere. That's one or two leaves compared to the other hundred or more. You're doing good dude, I assure you.

I do suggest adding in a 2700K light though. Especially if you're gonna flower them. :smokebuds:

flip to 12/12 until she shows flowers, then flip back. why not grow a photo if you're gonna wait 64 days? I'd never wait 64 days for an auto to show sex, I'd force it long before then.

I did this fliped it to 12/12 them back to 18/6 and it went back into veg. Had to put it on 12/12 and leave it there. The grow is on here. It had all the same problems yours is having.

Decisions decisions hmmm I know you ain't gonna let me make a important decision like this :no:. I have to say I remember someone once told me to BE PATIENT. That is the secret. Hmmm wonder who dat was just messin with ya. I don't know where to start, but here it goes.
first I had to screw with the lights again I am never satisfied. I liked the side lights but that big 125w bulb is just to short to cover both plants so I just made a whole frikkon ceiling of lights LMAO
so now I have 7 cfl's and the one 125w big bulb. and 5 empty sockets, maybe you can tell from the pics below. but that is
5 (23w new = 100w old and 1450 lumens of 6500k)
2 (23w new = 100w old and 1640 lumens of 2700k)
1 (125w big bulb in the middle)
as you are looking at the pics that is 3 6500k in the back,
big bulb in the middle and the front row of 4 bulbs are 2700k on the ends and 2 6500k in the center socket. IS that OK or should I mix it up some more. I guess that also depends on if we are going to make it flower or wait another few days ?
I vagley remember reading about the difference between the types of photos, something about the amount or hours of light for one to flower and the other just needing to have a change in the light schedule period to make it start flowering. but we have autos so why does the hours of light make a difference ? I think I understand that the 2700 would make them flower but a lil confused why the hours would. it's not that important now, I am just curious and I can read about it later. No need for you to take that much of your time right now, you are doing enough. So back to the question are we going to make them flower or give them some more time ? You asked how tall they are, well to my surprise they are only 12in tall - I would have thought just a little taller maybe 15in. but I measured and only 12 inches. From what I have read and this is just my rookie thoughts so please let me know WHAT YOU WOULD DO you are supposed to flower them when they slow or stop growing upward. and we have not really added any nutes to speak of. according to all the schedules and grows that start feeding in weeks 3 or 4 and we are on week 7 (I know why we did not) but maybe we could give them a shot of some juice tomorrow when I water them and then see if they are still growing upward for a day or two before we go into full "Make your ass flower or I am going to let the dog pee on you plant" mode. Romeo stated he had one go 63 days before it flowered. and you taught me to be patient. My feelings now are hell I waited this long, would the yield be better if it actually goes the distance and stops growing upward on it's own before we change to flower ? but if that is only a inch or two is it going to make that much difference anyway ? I think I am starting to ramble because I just don't know, I will try to limit my questions but here they go.
1. make it flower or give it a little longer. ?
2. change light schedule regardless of forced flower or not ?
3. give it some nutes ? and if yes what kind ?
4. how tall does a NL usually get ? and do they still grow upward after they start flowering ?
5. Are you tired of holding my hand yet ?

PS: I don't have the big bulb 2700k yet if that helps in decision making. The bong is in your hands man. I am game to try whatever you say. In the Squid I trust. They are just starting to smell good also. ok enough babbling.
PSS it has been since Thanksgiving since I toked so what the heck, I am ready either way make'em flower so I can get some weed or it has been this long whats a few more days or weeks. LMAO:thumbs:

Hello hello. Wish I were around your neck of the woods so I could burn one with ya. :smokebuds:

First off, your answer to number 5: Hell no! This is what I do here, my man.
You could flip flop some of those 2700K and 6500K to get it a little more even OR just rotate your plants everyday which is a decent idea anyway. You have the little mini cfls. I almost went with them, but they didn't have them in 6500K and I didn't want them different so I got the regular ones and these bad boys are pretty large. Larger than I thought. Anyway...

The type of light doesn't make the difference in flowering plants. It's all about the light schedule. Same with photo sensitive strains(non Autos). They'll grow on 18/6 or whatever until you want to flower them, totally up to you depending on what size you want and what size you have to grow in. Theoretically if you had a massive tent you could veg a Photo strain for months and months and get it huge and then flower. You induce flowering by flipping your light schedule to 12/12. Now with Photos the plant will double nearly triple in size sometimes. Autos are a little different.

They will flower on ANY light schedule using either spectrum, unless it's something like in your case now..we've seen it before, just a fluke sometimes. Funny you have two of them though. I have never heard of this happening with this strain, not sure what strain Romeo had either. Are you 100% sure it was an Auto bean? Just wondering.

Now to the decision...I can look at it both ways...We could just continue to let them grow a bit more, throw a little veg nutes at em and see how they fare under the 18-6 still. I would assume that they would further bush out and up some...thus giving a larger yield later or to see if they'll flower on their own.

Or we could flip to 12/12 right now for a while until they flower and then flip back to 18/6. Now if it just goes back into veg after flipping back to 18/6 then that's no Auto bean you got there. In that case we would just go 12/12 for the rest of the grow(saves heat and energy and stuff is a + there)
Autos generally show preflowers which is showing sex and beginning to flower hence preflower. But they continue to grow vertically during this stage and bush out. It's when they sop the vertical growth that they'll go more into full flower, and that's when you start bloom nutes. Not sure how tall they usually get, man.

We have a little different case now so we're partly just gonna have to see how it goes and take it as it comes. BUT good thing is you have great growth going and no issues really.

Alright...the decision...You're out of meds...you want some...it will be fun to see them flower and at that height you'll still get a good yield for personal use and you can start more sooner!
So let's flip the lights to 12/12 and see how they go. And on the next feeding give them 1/4 strength veg nutes. 123 go! :smokebuds:

YO SQUID HEY LOOKY LOOKY This is what I found this morning, I think it is absolutely frikkon be u tea full, so what does this change I hope I get a reply as they need feeding today, I am not sure what those lil growths are called I will look in a minute I am gonna call them boobs/titties/ta ta's I just am so excited I wanted to get this up as soon as possible so you could see before I do anything other than changed lights to 16/8 oh and I only see them on the Pink Pot at the moment the Beige pot seems to be a few days behind anyway. so maybe it will do the same thing soon. DAMN I'M STOKED

I can see it best in the 2nd and last pic, but they're there. Guess the stunting and all just took it a bit to get around to showing her underpants to us.

Good stuff. Feed veg nutes and leave lights at 18/6 like they've been. You said 16/8..?? Not sure why...:smokebuds:

OK, Yes how about that, Can I consider this a small victory in the long battle of reaching BUDS. :buds: Yea I figured from what "Whatsgoodie2" and you said the other day, until I heard back I just gave them a couple extra hours of beauty rest so All I changed it to was 16/8 they have been like that for yesterday and today so not much. I will put them back on the 18/6 I will give them a little dose maybe still just like 1/4 strength of veg nutes. Like you said earlier the OF has crap in it and they are still looking pretty good to me, so I do not see any reason to start going crazy with the nutes at this stage. I will also just rotate the plants to get a little bit of that 2700k on them. quarter turn a day, what do you think ? by the way those 2700k suprised me what a difference in brightness and color, I would have never thunk it. until I seen it now. Now the big question burning my brain,
What should I expect to see happening with those ta ta's next ? and I guess I don't do anything different or you would have said something. :check: Man dude I wish you were around close enough to puff one with me also. Hey I tried to give you a rep for our accomplishment BUT it says I have to spread some around. What is that all about ?. Hey bud. Yes, good victory here, mate. I don't remember about the light change, but it's ok. Just rock the regular schedule. 18/6.

1/4 turn 1/2 turn. I say 1/2 turn because it'll be easier to keep up with maybe.
Those bud sites will continue to throw hairs(pistols) out and surround stems and leaves and form buds eventually. It's fucking so fun to watch(I'm a fanatic) and sometimes happens so fast it will amaze you. Overnight even...you'll see.

The Rep thing basically means you need to give Rep to other members before you can give to me again. And no worries dude. 1-3 points from new growers that are doing great like you are..are better than 13 points from a Mod for doing a good job in a way. I am glad to help.

And yes...that is the same place that pollen sacs(males balls) form. Hopefully no hermi issues. Just female hairs now. Good to go! :smokebuds:
