And yes, we are excited. But I have a question. By the time we start growing, the temps outdoors will be within acceptable growing ranges during the day. We will be doing an indoor closet grow but would it stunt the plants if they were put outside. to get some good sunlight and then put them back inside the closet at night or if it got too hot for them to go outside? Would it be better to just keep them in the closet? I try to do my homework and have studied what y'a have posted. This is one question I have not been able to find an answer to.

The sun is a lot more intense than just about any indoor set up ever not including the uv. If you are planning on exposing the plant to the sun you have to 1: start right when it pops up 2: slowly give it more amd more light meaning 10 mins a couple days, 20 mins a couple days, 1 hour ect or 3: use a shade cloth. Also extreme swings in humidity will stress the plant. Putting a plant that has been raised under lights in the sun for an hour would be like a human going in a tanning bed for an hour!! A constant enviroment is best not including things like flowering chambers, switching spectrums for flowers amd things like that. Stress free is the way to be!

Edit: sprouting it outside will give the lowest chance of stress from light but leads to a very harsh start to life. Sprouting it and slowly exposing it to more and more sun is best in my opinion.

Think we will keep our babies in their comfy closet. I remember once spending just a few extra minutes in a tanning booth and I looked like a lobster - cooked! Lol. Thank you Jim for explaining things the way you did. Made so much sense.
