Indoor World of Seeds Northern Lights x Big Bud grow

Waiting, sometimes is the hardest part of the grow. patience is the key. Looking great, mine has a strong peppery smell right now:D Keep it green..

One love

Looks prototypical....as in perfect, textbook healthy!

Nice!

Day 53 for NL X BB. This plant has started to put some bud on over the last couple of days. Unfortunately the very pleasant lemon/lime smell has gone and been replaced with a 20140511_221810.jpg20140511_221831.jpg20140511_221821.jpgheavy hydro smell. While not bad the lemon lime smell was deliciuos. Cheers for reading and have a good one.

Day 50 for NL X BB. Putting on some flowers now and starting to bulk up a little, its all just a waiting game now. Enjoy the pics and cheers for readingView attachment 349839View attachment 349838

Kylie--we definitely have sister plants. I am surprised as to how tall they are growing and number of bud sites. Interesting.

Let us know when she starts to bulk up. Could be heavier yield than expected.

_______

edit--I see this strain is tall and slow blooming. http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Northern_Lights_x_Big_Bud_Auto/World_of_Seeds_Bank/

BTY--are your leaves getting very narrow/thin almost sativa like near colas. Did not expect that sort of growth.

OK--just a few days and what growth per your plant---

The full photo answers my question---our plants look the same. Yours is prettier than mine--in my opinion.

Hey Smithiano, I started the pk 13/14 on this one a week ago and it recieved the last dose tonight. I know it is early but i think after a week of no 13/14 in the nutes i will give it another couple of doses the following week. Bit of a gamble but it has taken all the nutes i can give her. Yours look as good as mine, and they both look like having fairly large buds, especially if they go 100 days...
Have a good one

Canna says to use PK at first sign of true flowering/small fruit which is just right in your case. I too added one feed with PK end of last week.

Your plan sounds good. If we provide too much pk in late flowering--thinking it will just delay harvest due to new flower growth. That is what the boosters do--promote flowering. Makes sense to promote early on and not too late.

Have been on the lower end of feed this time. I have found that with coco the plants will continue to grow if fed too heavily towards late flowering. Just my observation from past grows. Could not get them to yellow out. This time will try to give them at least a 14 day flush--if they last that long.

Rebel grows NL/BB and his are slow maturing. He says--the wait is worth it and the strain is in his new top ten. And he has grown so many strains perpetually for years.

Looking Good KKay, you getting any type of smell of her? i know NL normal doesnt put off much smell just wondering. I'm thinking she will be a good smoke most NL strains are i've never had big bud so im wondering what that strain is like.

Hey Smithiano, thats a good tip with the coco, mine is starting to grow now so i will keep it in mind. Not a bad recommendation from Rebel, cant wait.

Hey IDS, the smell was lemon/lime a week or so ago, but it is more like traditional hydro now. Its not very strong tho, which is good. Should be a good smoke i hope,

cheers and have a good one:coffee2:
