New Grower Worried about my plants

This is where the fun starts, for when you close some of the intakes you increase the volume coming in the others which will strengthen the "draft" coming through there which could have an effect you don't want. But now I know you're using a tent the thought goes to the temperature/humidity of the air being sucked in, and if that is the trigger

Yeah I think you are on to something with this for sure. The plants in the middle have hardly any damage. I am going to set the intake a little different and try to increase humidity levels. The temps went from upper 80s and 90s to lower 30s and 40s in just a day.

So now instead of using an AC I am using a heater. Only thing remaining the same is the air flow. Maybe the plants are not liking the cooled/heated air.

If it's possible, it won't do any harm to "rotate" the plants regularly so the ones on the outside don't get exposed to the same, even just turning them round 90° every day helps stop one part being exposed and damaged by any draft.

Getting temps under control is critical, however.

Highest and Lowest ranges I have seen have been 68 to 81. Dropped down to 68 went I had the tent open for a little bit. Other wise it has stayed around 72-81 F. This range too out of wack?

Had to convert that, means you're shifting 7°C at your worst and 5°C at best. Now I see no issue with your "normal" low as that's what I sit around BUT what I was meaning was in regard to the intake air as, if I understood things right, that was one hell of a swing.

As far as a heater in the tent goes, if it's a fan heater then the plants won't mind as long as it isn't blowing directly on them, I use a small fan heater in my grow space myself that blows at "pot" level but not at the pots but be aware that such a thing will also reduce humidity and will have to work hellishly hard if the air outside the tent is colder, also bringing in the risk of "too cold" air being brought in and hitting some plants before the heater has the chance to warm everything up in the tent. If that's the way things are, then close off intakes that are on the opposite side of the tent from the heater.

If the heater is outside the tent, then obviously the effects of the intake air won't be such an issue as it's coming in "pre-warmed".

So my tent is inside a metal shop that I have. The metal shop is outside, but insulated. The room itself is about 11 x 8 and is walled off and has a door from the rest of the shop. I am heating/cooling the air outside the tent, and letting it intake that air passively. Exhaust is exhausted outside through ducting.

OK, so as long as you can keep temps stable in the room things should go fine regarding temps

Thanks for all the help. I am going to rotate the plants and see if the leaves change. I will keep you all posted.

Plants still seem to be suffering from what I think is light burn... I have backed the lights up to 36 In. Lighting is still not great I know, but I took a few closer pictures. Will do my best on my day off to setup better lighting for pictures. I have been trying to keep the humidity around 45-55% but its pretty dry in my area so I have put a humidifier in the tent with them. Temps ranging from 72-80 F.

Plants that seem to be having the issue on are on the outside. Middle Plants seem to love as much light as I can throw at them. Very light curve at all. This is day 14. Other than this they seem to be doing fine. Last two waterings have been straight water, no nutes. Getting bigger very quickly. Tent is already starting to smell skunky.

Should I back the lights off even more or could something else be causing the issue?

That is not light burn. If anything it is heat related but I think it may be genetic. Light burn starts at the part of the plant closest to the light. It looks like this:

There is one possibility for light burn to occur in a lower spot and that would be with Mylar or foil lined walls a point focused off a reflection can spot burn a plant. Really I am not seeing that at all.
