New Grower would like your thoughts and opinions

I'll be completing my grow roon tomorrow. The area is W46"x L86" H84". It is being divided into a 4'x46" section, and a 3'2"x4' section. The smaller area will be the veg area and the larger for flowering, because I'm also going to be growing some photos. For now I'm actually going to use my room in reverse. My questions are about photos. I only have 6 seeds ( northern Lights from KC Brains ). Should I germ them all or should I start with 4? The are regular seeds, not fems so I know that the fewer i start the lower my odds of a female. Also, I want opinions on about when I should start them. I figure I'll veg them at least a month before putting them into flower. I'll also be taking clones from them to maintain a perpetual harvest. Because for now, only my 600 watt light is operational, ( my 1000 watt needs a bulb and the money's just not there to get it right away ). So I want to time these so they won't be in veg too long while share the light with the autos they . What are your thoughts on this? suggestions?

I would Germ them all out, for instance, this has always been my experience, If i have a 10 pack i will get about 8 out of that, With you having them reg and not fem you are cutting is slim.... I personally only buy Fem seeds cause i don't want to deal with sexing photos, I can't afford the real estate for a male. If you get 3 females from them 6 seeds being that all of the germ that is... i would say that is good

I know what you mean, it was just the economics of it at the time. I got them NL for $2.17 each. Next order will be fems and autos!

I started with autos myself but now i only grow photos, i never got the yields with autos that i do with photos. I can average around 1lb and 4 oz per 4 plants in 7 gallon pots. Also i find that my photos finish faster then any auto i have grown, cause i keep a perpetual with the photos, always have some in flower and always keep my veg full, rotation is key.
