yes, it probably is... if you know how setup router & tweak things, then you may be able to set it up...Them software/program enabled vpn's really only slow your connection down, they not really preventing ip from being exposed.. if you have software enabled vpn setup, you can run ip scan and it will still show your "true" ip address...if you can see, so can anyone else that is looking...

Exactly.my thoughts my 12 gauge and two Doberman are my sercurity measures I only use AFN and youtube no Dodge sites or anything like.that so I dont think .il have problems in that area

Sorry to hear that some dick hacked your router/tablet, Its the new form of burglary... just to put your mind at ease, he didn't hack your VPN, got to be working for the CIA to have that kind of super hacking skills (they invented the VPN)... And that's not how a VPN works, so you are still safe using it.
What he do is hack your wi-fi signal form your router/tablet. That's easily done whether your using a VPN or not... what a VPN does is stop someone form tracing the IP address to its original source (its a bit like the movies when you watch them chase the signal from country to country trying to catch the hacker), but it won't stop your neighbor or the guy sat next you in a cafe from hacking your tablet / lap top, that's down to your security and firewall... chances are you know the face of the hacker and it may be a neighbor.

It was my own stupidity that allowed him to tag along with me. Probably a young person playing around and got lucky when he found me. Tough lesson to learn on my part but I do think I am ok. If not, won't be a big deal. We have legalized medical sales the law has eased some. Our city went legal but the Law Director won't go by city law he is using state law. A good lawyer can fight this easily. I HOPE

kids will constantly scan wifi just to see if they can use someone elses web,and save themselves some phone megadoodles.
