Hello to all AFN members, First off please excuse my noobish wonderment. I've been smoking for 25 years including numerous tours of duty to the Dam, grown sick of buying overpriced undistinguishable commercial weed, dealers don't even bother to tell you what strain you're smoking anymore it's just 'green', So i convinced my lady to let me set up a small tent in the closet and have a bash at growing some auto's. I've never grown anything in my life so it's been amazing to watch these amazing plants develop from seed, I'm a couple of weeks or so from my 1st harvest, i'm not going to get the greatest yield as i've made the usual 1st time mistakes, but i've not killed them and learnt so much from this 1st attempt. Anyway, Out of my 4 plants i have a Barney's Farm pineapple express which is in a more advanced state than the other 3, she's 46 days from seed, plenty of white pistols still showing but a couple of the buds had pistols that were starting to go brown and turn inwards so i thought i'd sample one of these small buds to see where she's at high-wise, i quick dried and wasn't expecting much to be honest, but OMG the high was amazing! i was stoned out of my tree but in a really relaxed sociable way....beautiful! I am now more excited than ever to harvest these plants and dry and cure properly to truly appreciate the flavours and highs. Sorry for this rambling post but i just wanted to say thankyou to all on here as i've gained much encouragement, enthusiasm, and knowledge from reading stuff on here (plus drooling over your pics!) this really is a great site where people seem to genuinely help each other without snide remarks about each others growing techniques.
