I've just started a batch of 5 different strains of autos. One of them has crinkled leaves (Think Different).

Is this a bit problem or is it just teething problems, they have been in 8 days. The plant in question is top left one you can see its different even from a distance.

I wouldn't stress if all your variables are in check. Some plants just start out like that, I see it quite often and put it down to the first few leaves unfurling them self from their embriotic state..

Cheers, I am having trouble keeping humidity up and temps have been a bit high in my attic so perhaps that's contributing. I've hung wet towels in there now but my fans on max and extracting downstairs now through a back window.

Do they seem to be ok for day 8, this is only my second grow and first ever auto so I'm hoping not to mess it up!

As you get full leaves forming and if growth amoung the group is uniform will offer a more definitive answer to if it is an environment sensitivity, some sativa Dom's can be pissy about conditions (Haze's mostly in my experience)

I think you'll be fine but feel free to tag me along as you progress!

.... that crinkle thing is not that uncommon,... sometimes the plant grows OK, other times it doesn't! I'm not exactly sure what causes it, maybe a mutation, or something physiological, but it tends to stay, not growing out of it,.. I have one now outside, and it's a turd compared to the others, but I'm letting it go anyway,..... So it's going to take some grow time to see if she performs or sucks, then you cna make the call to keep or yank and start another,...

Thanks people. It's still crinkly compared to the others. I'll post some pics in a few days when it has more leaves.

I have previously grown Northern Lights photos and one of them had slightly odd twisty leaves but it still grew ok

Just a quick update, the leaves still look a little odd but not anything like they did at first!

The plant is growing equally as fast as the others too.
