from what this says they eat fungi, mold spores and decaying plant matter so they seem like they would be more beneficial then harmful

i hope so bro, after a lot of research i think ive found an article that shows the same ones i have..atleast i think they look they same :smokebuds:

these adults look just like the pic i took dont you think?

this little white one is a photo of a baby springtail so that would explain why i saw some very tiny white ones and some bigger black looking ones.

i dont have a picture of any baby ones i caught but those adults ones sure look like the one in the pic i took :smokebuds:

nope. But I also had mites on those ones and only damage was stippleing from mites.

I had them too. The white ones... Killed them all and realized what they were...

I did have an over population though. But they show up, especially when growing organically...

Just keep in mind, their a beneficial bug. But keep the #'s in check !!!!
