It gets a sticky on one forum, but I'm scolded on this one?? I honestly think they should review what they expect people to do here.
Props to the forum, but I will no longer participate. I received this pm I guessing in reference to a post I made right after the vaporizer so I didn't remember it, but I do not understand how a person cannot link to a good product, in the forum solely for that product type. I literally still don't get how linking to products, of the subject the sub-forum is about. On other site where I copy pasted same thread, some went viral and people loved it. Here the UI is broken and this kinda attitude will keep me away. So if that was the point, I will be happy to post elsewhere even though this is the best auto forum out there. Ill do without unfortunately. I grow a huge variety of things but thumbs can always be greener, autos are my newest adventure. For anyone that judges a post based on post count of the user is an idiot.
Yea those LED light links, that have gone gangbusters for their supplemental performance was spam? I bought them. I'm not selling them. To someone that has been online since online was online, that's bullshit! The other 3 forums call it the same as I do. Actually read how they want you to review a product. It's like you are trying to ID a mushroom. I'm not going to take 30 mins to say a product works great. If you do want to spend thirty minutes to copy and paste the way they say it has to be and make sure there is a space.......so since I have 5 items I want to review, ill be here over 2 hours. Yes I'm exaggerating, but not for everybody. It actually takes some people that long. Enough for this morning, my vape is ready and so am I !!

We have reviewed our current policy on spamming & flaming in the lighting section,and in particular LEDs. We would like to keep the grow threads clear of LED links, spam & any promo as we have become a target since setting up the LED section. With this happening we've had to be tough in not allowing links in grow threads. But we are aware there are there are many different LEDs being used at AFN by genuine members who would like to show what they can do. So what we would ask is that you complete a grow from start to finish here at AFN, with whatever LED you use and then submit a review for it with the template below, and in this review a link to where it was bought can be added. We feel doing it this way will help the genuine members show off their LED after a grow and help anyone interested in using LEDs decide which one is best for them.
If you are filling in a review we do ask that every question is completed before submitting it. If you don't know certain details then you could contact the place were you bought it to ask, or visit the website to find the answers. Taking the time to do this will help us build a decent review section where anyone interested in LEDs can come and check out products tested by AFN members. Any reviews submitted that are not complete will be removed until completion and AFN reserves the right to delete any posts or vendors that spam or flame other LED Vendors to promote their own products.
There are exceptions to links, for instance in the LEDs direct from china thread. This is a discussion thread and was set up to help members source LEDs at a cheaper price & direct from the manufacturer. To help our members they will often put up a link so we can look at the product and offer up some advice & discuss it. In the case of this type of discussion threads we ask members to be responsible.

1) Do not post your emails or private info in public. This is our home, but it is still a public place to which everyone can read your posts.
2) No Trading on the forums, No seeds, No pollen, No clones. NO equipment.
3) Try to be civil, that includes following common forum 'Nettiquette' (i.e. - things like not typing in ALL CAPS, etc) - we don't want to have to moderate or ban people because they can't control what/how they post in public. We are all adults here after all.
4) TROLLING/SPAMMING Trolling is the act of posting inflammatory, offensive, or nonsensical posts in order to incite argument and controversy. Posting under multiple user names is considered trolling, and is also forbidden. One user name per member. ABSOLUTELY NO SPAMMING, UNAUTHORIZED PRODUCT ADVERTISING OR SALES OF SUCH!!!
5) There is no seed giving, or any type distribution on site. Seed giveaways are only aloud from our AFN vendors and with prior approval of admin.
6) No discussing politics. This only leads to arguments and hurt feelings.
7)No being an Asshole for those who do not understand - It's that intense motivation to conduct yourself in accordance to the standards of one which feels the need to rub their anus off on others to spread the distasteful odor of their inner workings. This is considered a very severe infraction and is shall we say, greatly frowned upon, action can include immediate banning if deemed necessary.
8) No LED links,spam or promo in the grow journals. Please complete a grow at AFN with the LED and then submit a review in the LED review section,you can add a link there.
AFN Reserve the right to Delete any posts or Vendors that Spam or Flam other LED Vendors to promote their own products.

I'm sure you'd find this site a helpful tool and resource especially in your recent autoflower endeavours. Understand that not everyone has to have a grow journal to be part of the site but people have a right to question information without proof, especially online, and grow journals clearly show if a product is worth buying into.
