Has anyone ever seen this before?

I know its a genetic trait but thought i would post it in infirmary any ways cause it is sort of a problem..lol

Every snow ryder i have grown out has had this and my friend is now having the same thing happen with a different batch that he just bought.

Its as if the plants aren't producing enough chlorophyll in the new leaves and is resulting in poor and slow growth.

They do grow out of it but like i said its damn slow

:2cents::DWhat kind and how often are you feeding her? It almost looks like over fertilzing.Make sure your ph is correct and back off the nutes for a while.

I've done 4 or 5 grows of Snowryder and have never seen that. Judging from the deep green color they are producing plenty of chlorophyll. Can you post a picture of the whole plant? From the little I can see there it looks like some of the leaves may be curling down, which could indicate overfeeding. Also, what's your pH reading, what is your soil mix and how old are they?

If your only giving it fish meal what are the numbers,my fish fert is 5-1-1. You might be low on phos or pottasium or both along with micro nutes, copper zinc, etc.

Thanks for looking Muddy

Plant is 27 days

Can't give you a ph...lol as i don't have a meter but the soil is a ph'ed peat and perlite mix with a bit of fish bone meal added (6-12-0)

The leaves turn out nice and dark green like you mentioned but start out almost a pure white color like an albino and grow real slow.

I've done grows in 3 different soils now with the SR and every single plant (6) has had this trait and my buddy is going thru the same thing now with his new seeds and all his ph etc is bang on.

It's nothing to do with the seeds. Snowryder has been around for at least 4 years and is well proven.

Without a pH meter your really just pissing in the dark. Do you have some pictures of those new leaves that are white? Almost sounds like it could be an iron issue. Would still like to see a picture of the whole plant as well, taken from the side.

Can't grab another pic for ya untill i get some more batteries

Just talked to my buddy again and he had it mixed up,Its not his new seeds he got that are doing this but the ones i gave him a while back from my stash

All i can think of now is maybe i had a batch with a small variegated trait to them or something similar that got carried over

I guess its time to just chuck these seeds out and get some fresh genes..lol

Looks like it, but then again can you tell what's your pH, and also, you giving biobizz fish mix or you have fish bone meal in the soil? With lots of P it looks like a good fert for starters and bloomers, but you need K as well. If you feeding fish mix what are the dosages?

Cheers

No way to check ph like i posted above and its fish bone meal mixed in the soil.

My SS#1 is thriving off this mix and growing like a mofo as did my last batch so the ph has to be pretty dang close.

I saw this in my original seeds i recieved which i just thought it was a fk up on my end being a noob to autos...lol

After seeing it in the batch i made it makes you start thinking

Its a male any ways so i think i'll just grab some pollen for an experiment to see if it will show up in again.
