Problem: Yellowing Leaves with Dark rust spots

Medium/grow method: Sunshine Mix#4

Feed: and supplements used: Jakes bloom, micro, grow series (local company). Calnesium

water source: Tap water, PH 6.1 -6.4

Strain/age: Dinafem White Cheese auto 41 days old

light used: Viparspectra 900w(400ish actual watts.) Viparspectra 300w (100ish actual watts)

Climate: 79-81

Additional info: It looks like a cal/mag problem so I have been feeding them 1ml/liter Calnesium for 2 weeks now and the problem is only getting worse. I flushed today with just plain water 6.2 ph. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I included a pic of 3 week old Femaleseeds White widow/big bud auto that is starting to show the same yellow spots.

Thank you.

Is your tap water well or city? Pictures in natural lighting would help.

Ty for the reply. It is city water. PH out of the tap is around 6.2 and 330 ppm . I usually let it sit 24 hours. Here is another pic.

Thanks.

I usually like pH up around 6.5 to 6.8.. the thing with city water is chlorine will evaporate buy chloramine will not. Get ahold of the water company for a read out of your water. Your under LED do you add extra cal-mag led seams to suck up the cal-mag.

I started to add Calnesium to the last 4 waters @ 2ml/liter and foliar feeding them 3x a week. There seems to be no improvement and leaves continue to deteriorate. Should I up the calnesium feed ? or move to a different product ?

Calnesium:
N: 2%
Ca: 3%
MG: 1%
FE: 0.1%
ZN: 0.05%
MO: 0.0005%

Thanks.

I think you need to transition to some flowering nutrients. Lower N and higher K on the N-P-K reading... Looks like your still feeding veg nutes, and get you pH up. I bet if you probe the soil you'll find out it's down around 4 and your also locking out nutes.

You definitely busted me on the veg nutes ! The flowering snuck up on me and I've only given them 1 lower dose of the bloom regiment. I flushed them with just tap water today, my next feeding will likely be in 4-5 days when I will hit them with a full dose. My schedule is 2x water + calnesium, then 1 feed. Works out to less than 1 feed per week. Because of small plants in 5g pots, I did not water to runoff until my last couple waters. I am thinking now that was a mistake. Feedings are to far apart now as a result of slow root expansion ? I will make sure to up the PH on my next feed, but I am unable to check the soil ph . I have tried 2 rapid test soil ph meters, but turned out to be junk ! I see a lot of people mention accurate 8 meter, but amazon.ca doesn't carry it :(

At this stage I would say keep the dose to half strength but alternate feeding and watering to every other one. And if you just flushed I'd go head and do a feeding till run off.. are you sure your soil is completely saturated no dry spots?

yea I really soaked them in the kitchen sink earlier today. Wifey wasn't lookin !

I'll hit them up with the goods tonight and report back in a few days with some nicer lookin plants I hope.

Thank you very much for all your input.

Most the time it's suggested to do a light feeding after a flush, as you need to replenish the nutrients.. I also siggezs getting a soil probe, the accurate 8 is the best tool in the shed. EBay has them for around 60$. But well worth it.
