Yellowing leaves,dark spots

wow, that's very hard water, and cumulatively, it can become a problem with both pH and too much Ca/CaCO3 building up in the pot,...worse, you need to add all that pH down, more ion load,... I'd seriously look into getting better, lower ppm water,.. best deal is the self-fill machines! Water quality is very very important,....

So I just checked the runoff. The PH is around 6.2 and the PPM's are really high I think at 1800 :( I know I have not been feeding them that much PPM so I'm guessing there is not enough run off when I water to cause that high of ppm ? Oh, and it's not PH down I am adding, It's PH up. I think I read some where that you have to add 10x I think it was the amount of PH up as you would going the other way (down). And that was to raise my PH closer to 6.8 as GoAuto suggested.

I just looked up the water hardness for my province, here is a link

My city is 11 g.p.g (very hard on the chart)

... yeah, I think part of the problem is that hard-ass water! pH for that medium is borderline OK (low), if it were true soil, it'd be a tad low,......r-o ppm's are high, and I'm betting it's not all fert's... roger that on the pH up/down! ... the chemistry is pretty complex for pH buffering, very dynamic stuff,... the problem is the ion load in there, interfering with uptake,... can you get lower ppm water? I'd say a flush in is order, not a huge one, but enough to pull out some of the load in there, maybe 1-2x pot volume.... softer water will help a lot with this! usually, the last pour through, you include 1/4 strength nutes,...

Could this be septoria ? Nothing I do seems to help :( I have 3 different strains going with all the same symptoms. Flushing seems to slow the problem down, but between feeds it just keeps progressing. My PH's seems correct, I don't believe I'm over feeding. My feed ppm is under 600 ppm and my runoff is roughly the same now. The symptoms seem to start at about the same time flowering starts.

It looks a lot like a Potassium deficiency to me. Very similar, and the timing of it happening when the plants is starting to uptake a lot more of it makes sense. The water and PH issues are probably locking it out.

Once the leaves start this process, those leaves will never get better no matter what you do, so don't stress too much about that. Focus on finding some balance in the medium so it can get the Potassium it needs in flower.

Thx MedCzech. I may have needed that reinforcement on the Potassium Def. It gets pretty frustrating dealing with deficiency's. I think I have my PH's in check now , as well as the high run offs. The Deficiency isn't progressing as rapidly now, but I still have not eliminated the problem. The leaves are really yellowing fast now but the spotting has slowed down. Like I said, it seems to push the problem more between feedings. Is there maybe something I can give them as a supplement on non feed days to help ?

Foliar feeding can help between feedings for sure. Also, if you add silicon glycate (can't remember if that is the name)to the feed, it will both help with Potassium uptake and strengthen leaves and stems making them more resistant to fluctuations that occur during flower.

They might not look all that pretty, but if you stay patient and keep with the program, they will still yield you something! Hang in there.

I use the Rhinoskin from AN for the silicon. Foliar feed should be higher in P and K,but maybe best to find something at the store if you don't know or have something at home.

hang on, doing a conversion here,.... huh, about 11grains = about 188ppm, which isn't that bad at all,.. wonder why they say it's very hard? That's more in the 300+ppm range,...
Just to be sure, is your pH meter calibrated recently, ditto for the TDS meter? That needs it far less, but they can still go out,... if it's reading 100ppm on that water,.. b ut then, the quote you got doesn't factor in localized potential changes, from old pipes, etc.,... Good that the values have dropped into range,.. could be a little plain old lack-of defc. nipping in at them, plus the flushing, previous stresses, all take their toll on the roots,... I'm, totally unfamiliar with those nutes, the NPK#'s, and your dosage and frequency,... review that for me please,.. the transition point is a common one for such problems,..... either way, this isn't septoria, or K defc. for sure,... symptoms do not match up,...
