You need to soak the pots. If roots are growing out the bottom and you're feeding 1.2 Liters, those roots are DRY. I'm not saying this is your problem, just an observation. It looks like Magnesium defc. to me. Waira will sort you out, when he shows up. You came to the right place, my friend.

Damn man. You’re right. Up until day 28-30ish. Every thing seemed ok and watering was around 1.5-1.8L each. At the same time the roots were growing out the bottom like crazy, so I elevated them slighty so the roots would get air pruned and spread around the pot more instead of straight down.

The next time I watered though she was drooping on and off for 4-5 days. Perking up during the night period. Ithought the plant was closing it’s pores due to some sort of over watering but it seems it may have just been wind burn/intensity the whole time :/

It seems watering them 1.1-1.2L hasn’t been enough and I noticed the plant slowed down a lot more around that same time. Not long ago I sprinkled some Mag/Sulfur and bit of Calcium on top of medium and mixed it in a bit. Will water tomorrow.

Was planning on giving more PK 13/14 tomorrow aswell. I feel I gave them PK 13/14 1 week too early. The heads seem to be developing ok though.

Just to add: The bushy plant isn’t yellowing that bad. The LST’d one is really yellowing up her lower foliage fan leaves. Since I made this post I’m pretty sure another leaf has yellowed over and another is fading into yellow. Originally 2, now 4 leaves.

Gnats have been flying around most of the grow. Disappearing during dry spells and then reappearing. I’ve killed probably 200 of them lol. These things man, just spawn from satan himself.

Though, to be honest from other gardening exp, they aren’t too bad like whiteflies.

Hello GoAuto6. The water was mostly 6.8-7.0 for 2 weeks. Since then it has been adjusted to 6.2-6.5. Haven’t noticed a difference really.

If the soil hasn't buffered down then you could be experiencing a lock out situation.

I watered just before at 6.5 PH with a small amount of PK. The smell seemed to pick up slightly. The soil is pretty heavy organic matter.

I was thinking that gnat larvae was eating at the roots but there aren’t that many gnats flying around and any that I do see, I kill. I digged around the top of the soil and found a small blackish insect (maybe larvae) and killed it but that was it.

I was aware of the gnats but I thought my longer than usual dry spells would kill any of the larvae but I have read that larvae can die but they some just sit idle and resume once moisture returns. I don’t know if that is true.

Feeding with the PK at day 36 and now day 43. Before Day 36 no yellowing. Has the PK pushed the plants into bloom faster maybe.

Hello Green Bandit.

Day 16 was a big one time feed of NPK 12-2-13 approx (35-37ml). This was because the soil has slow release nutes in it. Label didn’t explain how much NPK was in it but for a 3-4 month slow release I assumed it must have been somewhat hot.

So I really laid back on any sort of nutes for veg.

Bloom first feed was Day 36 PK Canna 13/14. Today was second feed with PK Canna 13/14 and I was thinking maybe one more time next week and that’s it.

2 reasons why I’m doing this. To me I could not for the life of me understand the difference between a bloom nute and a booster nute lol. They both contained high amounts of P & K, sometimes the Bloom nutes had a little nitrogen. I heard boosters have other minerals and elements that should only he applied once. Knowing a lot about how supplement and big name companies work in health/fitness for eg. This seemed like a doubletake to me and companies just making double profit off virtually the same thing and ingredients with just different names/labels. (I could be wrong but it seems like that to me).

2nd reason was because I read alot of journals with guys that have 50-80 grows under their belts saying it was fine to feed pk 13-14 at 1 ml per liter and they had success and no problems.

Is PK 13/14 Canna making my plant develop and flower pre-maturely by alerting the fan leaves to feed the bud sites because it’s coming to an end? Where as if I didn’t feed the PK my plant would have kept flowering but also growing for another week or so before entering the stage I am going into now.

I use canna pk 13/14 it is a bloom booster as far as im aware. I think you will have to use some flowering nutes as well. I don't think pk13/14 has enough goodness on its own to keep your little lady happy. Are you adding cal/mg to your feed/water? To me it looks like she is hungry also i would be uping the amount of water she is getting at a time, 1ltr every few days doesn't seem like enough to me. Try to avoid letting her roots dry out as underr watering can be worse than over watering imo.
