Yellowing leaves

1,000's years ago when our stoner ancestors were getting ready to harvest. They didn't have microscopes or loops to check tricombs. They knew by looking at the plant and the plant told them when it's ready.

I use a pocket microscope, but I find it's just as easy to watch the leaves.

Sometimes we growers look into things when the results are as plain as day.

High PowerP, I have to agree with a420, that it looks about normal. The yellowing leaves will be the start of the end so to speak and is normal. and i would also leave them on till they are toast. your plant is drawling on it's reserves and it will slowly eliminate the old sugar leaves.i only remove them when they get dry and brittle and i am worried about them causing mold issues. I often see N toxicity at this stage and i usually back way off on the grow nutes that contain heavy N at this point, your plant isnt using it like it was before late stage flowering, and could use a little extra P & K during this time. i have also found using high brix molasses during this time to be beneficial to bud density. The molasses will give it extra sugars that it is sucking out of the yellowing leaves. kinda like carbo loading your girls.
Peace bro

Lol true!!!

Though even still...I just feel there are more variables with leaves and as a result...less accurate than checking trichomes. I'm sure however for most that the yellow leaf method works and there is nothing wrong with that. Just my opinion is all :) . I'm just here for knowledge and good vibes. Peace.

Thanks CLMonkey for getting back on track....

I think we get into the science of growing too much.:Stones slap: Mother Nature knows better sometimes.
Peace :peace:

Power.P, Sorry we got off topic. Best of luck with your girls. They should be fine. Just need to tweek here a tweek there.
The good news is that she's tall an has a great big cola bud.

I also check trics daily and usually that is my final decision maker on whether i chop or not, im sorry if it sounded like i dismissed checking the trics. as a matter of fact the trics are the only things i am really watching on mine right now. i tend to think faster then i type, and didnt mean to be dismissive about the trics. i am waiting for mine to finish turning cloudy, and i see a couple amber, then i flush. i am old school grower and never used anything but compost tea, so i am out of my element a bit with all the additives they have today. i tend not to do things on schedules, rather i go by what the plant is telling me.The leaves turning yellow about this time, was always my cue to start watching the trics.
again i apologize if i sounded arrogant i am simply not like that.
Peace and Karma

BTW, I've read that life cycle thread and the plant in question is not Auto )

Those leaves curling under are a sign of N toxicity. What are you feeding and how much? The yellowing leaves are normal, like BayLee said, but the rest isn't.

It receives 4ml/L Canna Bio Flores (NPK 2.5/2.0/5.0), 0.4ml/L Canna Bio Rhizotonic (NPK 0.6/0.2/0.6) and 4ml/L Canna Bio Boost. Too much/low?
