Hi all, long time lurker first maybe second time poster (lol) anywho let's get to the details shall we; Delicious seeds northern light blue auto, 10 weeks old on 10-31-12. I've noticed formation of new pistils to be all but stopped and the fan leaves are turning yellow. I have been attempting to scope the trichomes as to determine their maturity and harvest accordingly; however the quality of the RadioShack scope leave me often more confused about the maturity level. My lack of experience and let down with quick dried test buds up to this point have lead me to ask for more experienced advice. Bellow are some pictures of what we are calling "Tanj". Any idea of a harvest window or how close I am? First time getting to actual fruition/harvest and don't want to spoil my crop with becoming impatient.View attachment 142264View attachment 142263View attachment 142262View attachment 142264View attachment 142263View attachment 142262

I have that scope and have no problems. What exactly is the problem your having with it? Looks like you still have some white pistols so I would leave them until there all brown.Scoping the trys is still the best way,all cloudy with maybe ten to fifteen % amber.

Hey man

It looks to me like the very top of the bud has started fox tailing I had this on my auto nlb. Its like the plant starts growing a mini bud out of the main cola and forms new white pistols as it grows and therfore is younger than the majority of the plant. I would let the man fan leaves yellow and just about die off and then look at the trichs on the bigger part of the bud.

maybe 1 more week, but it looks straight just from eyeballing it. When the leaves that stick out from the bud yellow more, it'll be ready to chop. Typically it's 11-12 weeks.
