New Grower Yield results. Let's all be honest,

I have seen quite a few exaggerations... lol OH so right scott...

But calling someone out for it seem lower than, the low there pushing...

So I just don't go there...

I agree that an ounce/qt jar should get you in the ball park. But, I'm with cres, it serves no good purpose to challenge what someone states as their yield... who cares(or should)? It's a sign of low self esteem... they already feel badly enough about themselves... I say, give 'em a break.

I agree, a little of tending to ones own garden should be better time spent

Id really love more outdoor yields for autos put up but it seems most dont want to share. Even with a good summer at northern latitudes & using a greenhouse the best iv seen is abot 60 grams from my best auto. It dosent matter how good a grower I become or what strain I grow Im never going to get much better yields than this outdoor at my latitude. Dense buds outdoor dont exist in colder climates & buds are always much leafyer than those grown indoor or at warmer climates. Using a greenhouse up north will get your buds a little denser and improve your yield but there still embarrassing cosidering Iv seen 60 grams from plants a quater the size grown indoor. Like scotts says its easy enough to tell when people exaggerate yields with pics so dont waste your time lying. Just my :smokebuds:

what strain was that and was it lke my uk climate? 60g out door for an auto is good stuff
to be fair outdoor even though I lack experience in it strain choice can have a major effect you cant go by the packet as temp and resistance make a big difference outdoor and an indica dom may use light more efficiently in colder climates but may have you less production time its a tricky one

I would never call anyone out myself as that is not in the spirit of AFN or what I am about. That's why I created the thread. I just want all the new growers out there to not get depressed or put off when their grow comes in at 7-14 grams and they think they are gonna get a few ounces because of someone else s reports . 7-14 grams of wellness is 7-14 grams better than no wellness

I totally agree on some plants ive never published weights to upset breeders only because other members have quoted very high figures. Some i think if they stretch the truth enough they will get free beans (im not saying this goes on here but ive been around a few forums in my years)

Some strains i don't like even to mention as it upsets other people on here but id rather have some honest reviews some times stuff goes wrong and some strains don't suit my growth methods

but with enough honest reviews we can get a true picture of the strain and it will give breeders direction

Well said... Ive been reading on hear awhile and just recently joined.. Im a member on a few other sites and have been for awhile.. I love this forum due to the sheer fact that most the people on here are here for the same reason and not some punk 15 year old trying to hide his grow under his bed from his parents... I enjoy the "real" factor and good threads like this!

Size and dry weight can be a strange thing i have just taken my stone dragon out of a 4L multi pot i left one growing still.. at 64% in the jar dry weight was just shy of an OZ but to look at it i would of said woooo only a quarter there but due to the density of the bud and how rock soild it is.. There is an OZ lol We all grow for our passion for auto and yeild doesnt realy matter except to better your own records which is my goal its about quality not quantity:smokebuds: Sorry for any spelling mistakes Si

I had this as well with jorges diamonds they where like stones. If we cant be honest with our weights how can we move forward as growers
