Mephisto Genetics Yield

Hello All,

I've done some research and I'm going to placing my first autoflower order as soon as the Mephisto website is back up.

My list of genetics so far are:

Hubbabbasmelloscope
Alien Vs Triangle F2
Ripley's OG
Double Grape

Skywalker
4 Assed Monkey

My research tells me that the first 4 will produce good yields at 4oz to 6oz per plant. I'm wondering if I'm going to be disappointed with the Skywalker and 4AM. Can anyone offer any info here that will give me a good picture of what the final will be on those two genetics?

To be clear I'm targeting 4 finished dried oz per plant. How disappointed will I be with Skywalker and 4am? I might grow them anyway just want to have a realistic picture going into it.

First and foremost you should look for quality over quantity. Also, smaller strains will grow smaller and yield less. But you can do more of them in the same space. Being smaller doesn't make them worse. If you are looking for quantity only, then...yes you might be disappointed in a 4AM vs a Ripleys OG yield wise. I highly doubt you will be disappointed in the quality of any of them.

Also, getting 4-6oz dried on Autos is not always a guarantee of you are new to Autos Don't be disappointed if you don't reach those numbers. Those are bigger strains, and have potential to get large/yield well. But you have to grow them well. Good luck

I am still to hit a 4oz auto. I haven't grown an awful lot of autos to completion so yeah that is my excuse

Definitely doable, but everything needs to be dialed in - training and environment.

4oz dry is respectable.

Pot size and medium play a huge role in yield, along with environmental factors and grower skill. I've had my best yields in coco fed with salts. My best smoke has come from organic soil, but the yield suffers. I think any of those strains can yield 4 oz if done right.

I can’t speak for Skywalker, but I have grown several 4AM and not reached 4oz...not even close . It is however an excellent strain... very loud! If you are growing for quantity the plant would not be my choice.

Of note, FN has a current thread entitled GGG4... same as 4AM. It is worth reviewing to give you an idea. Margahooja just completed a thread of multiple strains and grew out a beautiful 4AM. Skill, medium, environment and ensuring an excellent start are all key with autos!

I agree with what everyone else says. There are just to many factors that play with yeilds, look up grow journals for the strains your interested in, see what results people have gotten and why and then start some beens and give it a whirl!

Spot on Advice. 4AM is SUPER STANKY. BUT you won't yield much compared to the rest on your list
