You win some, you lose some

GBD amendments and Roots Organic mixed per instructions (top half base/bottom half base + amendments) with 2gallons of EWC and perlite to each 1.5 cu ft bag.Seed germinated and planted to a plug of Promix BX in the final pot. These plants are on day 44 and have received distilled water ( no PH'ing) and about 2-3 waterings of GO calmag @ 1/2 tsp per gallon and also 2 waterings of Recharge @ the recommended dosage.

Temps-75-82

Humidity- The dry winter air is killing it @ a range of 16%-25% ( I'll have a small humidifier on the next run)
I have been adding wet towels and containers of water but she's not budging, maybe 2-3%

Lighting- Mars II 400 and 250 w HPS now at about 23" ( Started at 30" until day 30 )

Tent- GL80

Long story short, between about 2-3 overwaterings in the beginning ( Roots Organic stays damp for a while) and adding Calmag ( as a preventative with using distilled) when it wasn't needed, I stunted the plants obviously and locked up a few things..The leaves are dry and brittle and easily crumble to pieces, it started at the bottom now we here lol Next run, JUST WATER until ( if it does ) a calcium or magnesium deficiency shows up and I added some Epsoma Garden lime to the next batch of Roots Organic as well as some more perlite. I wonder how well bubbled tap would do without adjusting PH even though my tap is around 7.5 last time I checked..I need to make sure this doesn't happen on the next run. @Eyes on Fire has been alot of help as well, just want to put that out there  I'll be switching to the TLO as soon as I use up the leftover Roots. How strong are Mephisto Genetics man, they can take a beating and still pack on the snow..And the smell LOL.

:toke: GG- I think the low RH and what looks like P defc. to me are teaming up here,... transpiration is how water and nute's get moved from roots to tops, and if the RH and/or temps are way out of range, it starts to cause problems with this... dry stress will make to stomata close up, as the plant tries to prevent serious moisture loss, even if the soil itself seems well moistened (is it BTW, have you hefted the pots for weight? these type pots are notorious for making dry patches),... when that highway is restricted, you get deficiencies started often, and the sheer dryness really sucks the moisture outta the leaves, hence them going crispy even before they get yellowed out! Also, another member here had some issues with P defc. with the Mephisto soil mix, so a plain lack-of defc. could be in play along with the rest of what's happening,...
How big is that tent? Tthat heat throwing HPS might be unnecessary, with a powerful Mars II in there,... tuck them in close, and if the tent footprint is small enough and gives good reflection of light, losing the HPS will help lower the temps, and raise the RH some,... those RH numbers are bad, seriously!

Hey Waira, the tent is 2'7"x2'7"x5'11"..I actually lifted the pots before and after watering ( as well as sticking my finger into the soil as far as it could go allowing the soil drying time of 5-6 days and I water slowly around the base of the plant almost creating a trench ( TaNg's method ) so the water doesn't run out of the sides instead of soaking deep.I've been saying it since I started that the humidity was way too low..( Going to grab a cool mist humidifier for the next wave). In the summer I was at 50%-60% veg and about 35% bloom.I purchased the 250 to add some heat in there because the outdoor temps are hitting 15 degrees fahrenheit at times..Maybe turning the HPS off in the day with just the mars on and back on at night to battle those low temps? As far as the Phosphorus goes, I thought it was locked out from overwatering ( I did give it about a week to dry up after that) but now that you mention it, would it be wise of me to possibly add some additional bone meal to the next batch just in case? I have my last 4 Skyrone Stompers going in next, so I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row beforehand.

Thank you

...goood, on the watering! ditto for the HSP, if the tent is that temp vulnerable,.. cool temps are FUBAR for organic grows, slowing the microbial activity down (or killing it), as well as the usual problem with nutrient uptake and transport in cold temps,...not much choice there it would seem! P won't lock out from overwatering, that smothers the roots, messing with gas exchange and killing them,.. compromised roots, compromised uptake,...but that's past damage,.. I'd talk with EoF about the bonemeal first before tinkering with the mix,.. you need right-now P, like from bat guano or something (Roots Organic HPK is good stuff), unless you want to use something else synthetic to get caught up then switch to organic again,..

Hmm, if I had the equipment and material I would hit them with a flower tea..I'll have to keep that in mind..I didn't prepare because I figured I could just water and walk away with this mix..I'll have to see if HTG is open or just take the kick in the ass,let them ride it out and come back strong in about 2-3 weeks...I could always incorporate some organicare bloom granules on the next run in a top dress with base soil as a precaution.I feel if I start messing with the PH Perfect Sensi bloom a+b I have right now ( which doesn't like me for some reason) my plants will be like ok that's it, I'm done with this guy.

I've been reading through some Mephisto " Supersoil" threads and have come to the conclusion that on the next run I'll fill the pots with the amended Roots 2/3 instead of 1/2. I'll grab some Guano for a top dressing around about day 30. I think I'm going to try some fabric pots I seen EoF suggest in a thread I came across as well.( Not knocking airpots, you just have to experiment and find what works for you).Between the guano, humidifier and a less hands on approach with the watering I should see better results.

I'll grab some HPK to salvage this grow, but even though they ran out of gas on the P, the nugs are getting dense at the expense of some foliage lol.
