Getting started with Whamband

Seedlings up-potted

I up-potted the last seed today to 1L; one didn't survive so I have three seedlings to work with.

I only saw two gnats flying around this morning and no crawlers. Unless some got in to lay eggs, I think the infestation is over. I saw a fast-moving soil mite working its way across the floor, so am thinking predatory mites are helping along with the rice hulls.

Good luck @Rasterman :peace: :pass:
I'm already curious about soaking in coconut milk. Does that help with the germination or when they go into the soil?
Thanks @RosaB!

I used coconut milk once on seeds that had a low germination rate and the germ rate improved. It has enzymes, sugars and hormones needed by a growing coconut seed and the thought is that it should provide those things for cannabis too. So now if I have it I use it whenever I soak.

I also water it in for a growth boost once in awhile. I don't know if that actually works but believe it does...

I use horticultural freeze-dried coconut milk like they have at Buildasoil. Occasionally I buy the cheaper stuff for humans on Amazon if I'm short cash.

For watering and foliar I mix about a teaspoon per gallon. For soaking seeds I put about 1/4 teaspoon per cup.
