I’ve got some 64oz Mason jars that I’ve been putting Budsavers on but I’m looking for some bigger jars, like 1 gallon - for curing. Does anyone know if the “Paksh Novelty 1 gallon wide mouth jars” (sold on Amazon) or the “Smith’s Mason Jars wide mouth 1 gallon” (also sold on Amazon) will work with the Budsaver lids?

As far as I can make out, your Busaver fits on any 83mm wide bottle mouth, so that means you best contact Smith's for the INTERNAL diameter of the neck as their "Wide Mouth" seems to come in at 86mm but I don't know if that's "internal" or "external" diameter. If it's "internal", then it's too wide and the Budsaver won't seal properly, too small and the Budsaver might not fit, so you need to know that vital measurement.

The other one says "4 inches wide". Unless it's made of 9mm thick plastic or whatever, that's going to be too wide no matter what.

Hell, I'm confused because I don't know what the Budsaver needs, is that 83mm the diameter needed for the "lid" to sit on or is it how wide, at the most, the "unit" fits into? If the former, then you SHOULD be able to sneak the Budsaver on, or maybe widen it slightly to fit because we're only talking about a couple of mill at the most, you could probably pick up some sort of "gasket" or rubber seal that would do the trick off a shelf at a DIY or auto parts store, or a bit of roofing rubber cut to the right size, a bit of thin ply, whatever, you get the picture. Obviously if you move into the ply/sheet metal/MDF/hard plastic/etc DIY route then both should come in fine because you basically make a "reducer" according to the size of the bottle's "neck".

Problem is a distinct lack of info on both, especially dimensions, and my next thought turns to whether the Budsaver would be designed for a jar that size as, simply, there's surely an upper limit to what the Boveda Pack can do and that will dictate whether moving up to that size of jar is viable at all.
