Tell us a little bit about your cab size and budget - I don't like to fiddle with electrics either so I just buy things that I can plug in and won't cause me worry!

When you buy the HPS there is often a drawing that follows of how you supose to hook it up.. its not very complicated. + - and earth. trough the ballast

as for the fans.. you can buy pc fans that is ready to be put straight in the wall.. all you might need is a plug ti connect it to... (2 cables)

Is 180w of leds enough for 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m area?

i would say it could do 2 plants in there good :thumbs: but as always..more light is more power..or..something in that direction .. :xlaugh:

Guys i am sorry that i didn't say that i don't have the equipments yet. I'm having problems of choosing what to buy. I have around 600 euros cash so that ain't problem at the moment. The problem is that if i buy "Home box set" that how i manage to wire up the HPS lightning and the outtake fan etc.
Is there any solutions that i wouldn't need to know anything about wiring up all those complex things? And oh btw, a side question. Is 180w of leds enough for 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m area?

Buy a kit that includes the ballast, light, and reflector. Then all you have to do is plug and screw :thumbs:

There are adapters if you buy things that don't plug into each other. My first ballast
I got used, and needed an adapter to plug it in. It's not a big deal.

How you set up the fan depends on what you get, and what the grow space is like.
I put one plastic bucket on top of another, and put the carbon filter on that.
Not exactly high tech, but it works. Prob best to hang it high up, but I have
a very small space.

The rule of thumb is roughly 50 watts/sq ft. I am not good with metric, but
that sounds like 16 sq ft? So it sounds like you could use as much as a thousand
watts. I don't have any experience with leds, but my guess is you want more than
180. A 1,000 watt HPS kit would be cheaper....

You can buy a 600w HPS ready just to plug into the wall for as little as £60, that's what i start mine under, most extractors come with plugs already fitted. And no 180w LED is no where enough for a space that size, two 600w would be best, or one 600w or 1000w on a light mover. Hope this helps.

i just read the question again..and must say i agree with the others on that if you want full advantage of your whole area you would want some more power.

i was more thinking of how many plants you should do in that space WITH that power of light

Sounds to me like your best bet is to buy a complete grow tent kit. It will have everything you need and instructions on how to setup, connect everything.
