Doin it in Steps

Frigin a tad warm outside man.soo I'll finish it up later on tonight so we can both get some stuff outta it. so far Ive gotten a few things together and blended some items n gathered up other stuffs.

1 bag Dr. Earth

3 gallons true of My soil. But spag peat or similar will work fine too.

3 gallons or so of cow and mushroom compost.5LBs of EWC if ya got it..I aint got it lol.

2-3 gallons soil conditioner such as bio char or leaf pro or green leaf brands have excellent life properties imo.

Insect Frass(not needed but awesome) 2-4 cups depending whatcha be building.but 2 or three is fine.

1 small box wheat organic baby food is best imo.

1 1/2 cups sterile play box sand and 2 large cups of Dolomite Lime.Id add crab shell too But Im getting more.whole 4-5 LBs if ya get some. n less the lime by a cup.

And 2-4 gallons perlite depending on the nugget size.small to medium is best imo.

take Lime and sand and a small fist or smaller perlite n stir n blend together..you should feel the difference once its mixed a little bit.. and ill be adding stuff to that to flow, cover and mix better with the soil so its a more throughly mixed n blended soil imho.

so thats where Im at..LOL the rest ill do tonight at some point while Im UBER stoned LOL!

this is just what I do..I know you use your ewc n guano n so on..what all do you have if you dont mind me asking? well..i hope this help ya try a cpl things next time..but ill get back to it..er smoking n jammin to some tunes that is lol. Do over!!

Dang Im glad I took a break..I looked at the soil and compared bags from the several times Ive used it..they've changed the recipe man..I didnt know that dangit lol!!So I had to kinda do a do over sorta kinda..lol.go figure.

Im still using the bag of soil ofcourse, and sifted the perlite outta the lime sand mix for the most part. Its faar less bark filled than many months ago.and the package has changed three times..lol.

adding 3 gallons cow n mushroom and Castings since its gonna be a heavier thicker mix now.even 5 gallons casting if ya wanted toooo.but, I need a few cups fer teas n stuffs.once I get my frass ill be using a good 3 cups or better.

So 2 cups of lime and a cup of sand mixed with my mycos.I feel it spreads a bit better and I use my CT wastes too.then ill add roughly 4-6 cups of crab shell and a few cups of crushed oyster shell ,but I have a hard time getting that.so i make due as best i can..and remember sterile play box type sand is good enough and'll last ya awhile too.

I just pour a little of a tea I had going on it and mix in the CT wastes and watered it in slightly.gonna add lime and things here tonight and the others.

but in all honesty man I dunno whatcha add.cuz I know ya said something bout ya did some stuffs.. but ewc,,perlite,a lil lime in da coconut, and a living tea and a cpl weeks and a good seedling mix is all ya really need baseline to boost that guy well imo.or what I used to do that worked alright too actually was treated the soil with a soup feeding of all the proper soup feeding stuffs and let it sit with a mix er two for a few weeks ,THEN blend n cook it LOL! thats a potent soil dude lemme tell ya..swuut I did with my tangelos actually.the revs mix I made..I used that dr. Earth as a pre treated base with spag peat n fixings..i wanna try that again dude..OK daang Im high n yammering on n on n oonnn !.... lol ok..check back later on with all sorta wierd wierdness goin on.L8rz all! :smoke:

Finally..

Well that took longer than idda liked :smoke:
I had to re adjust a few things since I saw the moisture and the texture of the bag of soil..cant believe I didnt notice that right off..lol.oh well...But I added to it and ill be adding my crabshell and frass within the next few days along with some alfalfa meal too.But Im ultimately adding to my existing mix at some point as a dual layer potting mix i wanna try.but we'll see.i wanna try a lotta stuff n wind up doing a bunch then combining em n mixing that LMFAO!! But you could add a lil lime, fresh ewc on the outter soil in the pot with fresh castings as well assuming ya had a living mix fist sized or so so no heavy bleeding occurs.Which leads me to another thing before I forget.I got black gold seedling mix and a coco coir finely grated for seedlings with some sifted mini perlite from my bog ole bag I think it'll lend to a soft touch living tea with some ewc soup brew too imo.should do great once left to cook lightly and cut if needed.which ill test on a few extra photo beans I got..

But the 1 bag of Dr. Earth I added this so far until I get my other stuff.

1 bag Dr. Earth well moistened

3-4 gallons spag peat dry

3 gallons Mushroom compost, cow compost and 5 LBs of EWC. Moist.

3 cups of crabshell and 2 of crushed oyster shell.not powder, meal or anything.crushed.

2 cups lime if lite on crab.if ya got everything add 1 cup lightly rounded of Dolomite Pulverized Lime.

3-5 gallon perlite, small to medium nugget sized Horto grade.

And for your Liming agent and Mycos n stuff I use Sterile Play box sand..I find it spreads way easier.and gives an all around more through and even mix imo.

2 cups sand or a combo or green sand, soft rock sand works well too.equal parts of the three.
add lime,guano(1 rounded Tablespoon if desired of each) 1 Tablespoon of each of the Mycos(i use four and a seed)and a 1/3 cup powdered blackstrap molasses, and 1 cup of baby cereal(wheat or soy based is best imo)dry, and once you stir that up together and feel the smoothness of when its fully mixed together then fold it into your soil in a three part spread..sprinkle..mix..sprinkle mix..and again lol"Stirring" oh,three TBspoons Azomite too.

and before I do that.I use a soft tea full of life to re moisten and sprinkle sands n stuffs in to n fold in..POW!! after a good few mixings over a day er so into a tote she'll go and fungal stuffs'll be a poppin man.

Im pretty sure that it..thats what I like to do to my soils that are pre blended.but a simple way is lime fresh castings n juice plugged and watered in with a cal mag should do a good solid starter.but imo the more involved ya are the more yer gonna get outaa yer soil imo.Hope this helps ya man,I thought you might wanna take a look at what I do to give you some ideas of what I do with my mixes dude.:smoke:

Thanks everyone n be well ya'll! I got my storage shelf for either IN or next to my tent lol:smoke:

Cottonseed meal 2/3 cup

Kelp meal 1 cup

Bone meal 3/4 cup

Epsom salt 1/3 cup

Blood meal 1/3 cup

And when you add for your second month blend time to water n re moisten after a few day mix n dry time..Water in with a 1/3 mix of Molasses ,Liquid kelp or soaked n strained kelp meal extracts or azomite, and a small bit of mycos and a small splash of humic acid liquid..small splash too.1/2 teaspoon small splash in a soup styled watering feed for your soil and re mix that in for a day er two n blend another month and pow!!to the moon with ya man lol! Thats exactly what I do and did with this mix and will do for the most part short of adding a few things like frass n so on to improve certain aspect n properties within my soil and root structure so it'll feed and pop the chitosan and enhance every part of the plant upon blending with the soil.

I also added that Compost barn yard package..THAT is a small secret to my busted self not being able to harvest good microbes here.I recommend that you take a look at it a time er two man.good stuff.excellent source of an all natural green n browns composted mix.

My Living seedling Template

Basic Seed Starting Mix

  • 3 parts** peat or coir (coir is preferable if you can get it)
  • 3 parts vermicompost (your own or purchased from a garden center or other supplier)
  • 1 part perlite
  • 1/2 part greensand
Mix the first three ingredients together, then sprinkle the greensand into the mix and combine. This ensures that the greensand is evenly distributed throughout the mix.
What Makes This Mix So Great?
Let's break it down by ingredient:
Peat or coir provides the base for the mix and gives the seedlings something fine yet sturdy -- perfect for encouraging strong root growth. It also retains moisture well, as long as you don't let it dry out. (It can be a real pain to re-hydrate peat and coir once you've let them dry out.)
Vermicompost provides excellent nutrition for your growing seedlings, which they'll need once they have their first true set of leaves. The seed has everything it needs to germinate and send up a stem and cotyledons, but after that point, it will require outside nutrition to keep the seedling growing strong.
Perlite keeps the mix from getting too dense, and provides aeration to the mix.
Greensand is an excellent source of potash, which is essential for overall plant health and strong growth.
**Note: one "part" can be anything you want: a cup, a bucket, a shovelful, whatever. The point is to keep the proportions fairly close to the recipe.

I'll be adding to this over the next few days n stuff.Starting with Black gold seedling mix and an extra fine ground coco coir mix with my difted small perlite and organic boosters.ill keep you posted."AFN smoke out"

Eyes have you got your vermicompiting ...That makes the Freshest Sweetest tea for the ladies....
